Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston will choose from a similar squad to the one on duty in the win over St Mirren.Midfielders James Fowler (knee) and David Silva (knock) have been missing along with defender Ismael Bouzid.
Swansea defender Alan Tate goes straight into the Aberdeen squad after joining on loan.
Reading's Michael Hector plays his last game before his loan deal expires, while Andrew Considine (calf) and Clark Robertson (knee) remain out.
Kilmarnock winger Chris Johnston: "We're aiming for the top six and Kris Boyd is the type of player who could make the difference in us achieving that.
"If he keeps scoring the goals then we have a great chance. But then it is up to us to keep creating the chances so he can take them.
"We know if we put the right ball into the right area he will score goals.
"The top six is something we can definitely aim for. We're on a decent run right now and if we can keep that up we then we can start looking up the way rather than down."
Aberdeen defender Alan Tate: "Aberdeen is pretty similar to Swansea in that it is the only club in the city, so you can see the potential there, as it is a big enough city.
"I'm sure if the club improves further on how it did last year, the attendances will get even bigger.
"Everybody knows about the time when Sir Alex Ferguson was here and them winning the European cups so you are aware of what the club has done in the past.

"But it's a new challenge for me and that is one of the reasons why I have come up here. We play Kilmarnock on Sunday but I wouldn't even know where Kilmarnock is? Is it a city?
"I've played in every league in England and was happy with how things have gone down there. This is a different challenge and one that I'm ready for. I've never played up in Scotland and if you spend all your life where you are comfortable, you won't achieve much."

Loan player Gary Fraser's nine-match suspension is up but he will be returning to his parent club Bolton.
Hearts assistant manager Billy Brown: "We lost our captain before the game [against Hibs]. We brought in a 17-year-old at right-back, who has done well.
"But we can't keep doing that. Kevin McHattie and Jamie Walker are on five bookings, Scott Robinson is suspended for Motherwell.
"We are getting to the stage where it's going to become very difficult to field a credible team."
Partick Thistle striker Lyle Taylor: "The manager has told me that my job is to hold the ball up and put it in the net.
"The way I see it, that is any centre forward's job, it is not a new role, it is nothing that I am not used to. I want to score goals, that is my job.
"There are a lot of opportunities being created, we just haven't been able to put the ball in the net enough times to pick up more points.

"I have been given the opportunity and I want repay the faith shown in me by the manager and put the ball in the net.
"We made a few chances against Celtic but if we play like that against lesser teams we will make more chances.
"That is the aim and if we do that every week then I think we will be okay."

Manchester United will be without strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie for Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie against Swansea.Rooney (groin) and Van Persie (thigh) are both injured, as is winger Ashley Young (shoulder). Swansea winger Pablo Hernandez is likely to miss out after sustaining a hamstring injury. Dundee United defenders Keith Watson and Calum Butcher will return from suspension after red cards against St Mirren and St Johnstone respectively.Their comeback is a boost for manager Jackie McNamara whose side conceded nine goals in their last three games.
Hibernian boss Terry Butcher is hoping Scott Robertson recovers from a tightening of his calf muscles sustained in the win against Hearts.
Striker Paul Heffernan could start after he recovered from a thigh injury.
Dundee United midfielder John Rankin: "It doesn't get any easier. Hibs are a massive club with good players.
"They are coming off the back of a derby win and have now grabbed the bragging rights for the city.
"But if we can get back to the standards and tempo that we have set before the last three games then there is no reason why we can't get the three points.
"If we can go on a similar run to the one we've just had, we can get back up the league again.
"The disappointing thing is that we've now lost three on the bounce but it's about reactions now. We were getting plaudits when we were winning games, but we have to show the other side of our make up, that we can bounce back."
Hibernian manager Terry Butcher: "We are on a really good run - the best run of the season I think - but we want to make it even better.

"We are in the top six, we want to stay there and we want to build on what we have achieved.
"The boys are enjoying their football, you can see that. We played some good football against Hearts, got some good balls in the box and had one or two chances.
"A win against United would be another step forward."

Manchester United will be without strikers Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie for Sunday's FA Cup third-round tie against Swansea. Rooney (groin) and Van Persie (thigh) are both injured, as is winger Ashley Young (shoulder). Swansea winger Pablo Hernandez is likely to miss out after sustaining a hamstring injury. Leon Britton (illness) is a doubt while Michu, Michel Vorm and Nathan Dyer are all definitely out.
Rooney missed United's trip to Norwich on 28 December with a groin problem and, despite returning for the New Year's Day loss to Tottenham, was pictured leaving a private hospital in Manchester on Friday.
He could return for the first leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final against Sunderland on Tuesday.
United have not won the FA Cup since 2004, when they beat Millwall in the final.
Manager David Moyes said: "If you are a club like Manchester United, you want to be involved in all competitions. For this club not to have won the FA Cup for 10 years is a bit of surprise. It's something we will try to do and we will do everything we possibly can to try to get through on Sunday."
Swansea have never won at Old Trafford and come into the tie on the back of seven games in all competitions without a victory.
Defender Ashley Williams insists visiting United is still a special occasion, despite the Premier League champions having lost four home games already this season.
"It's an important game as we haven't won in so long, but going to Old Trafford is a special occasion for any footballer," he said.
"We will try and enjoy it and we will try and put a few things right. I think they are a top-class side, there are no worries about United as far as I am concerned."
Provisional Manchester United squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Johnstone, Rafael, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Vidic, Buttner, Fabio, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Cleverley, Giggs, Anderson, Zaha, Januzaj, Welbeck, Kagawa, Hernandez.

United have won the Cup 11 times, more than any other team.
The furthest Swansea have ever been in the FA Cup is the semi-final stage. They reached the last four in 1926 and 1964.
This is the first time Manchester United have played Swansea in the FA Cup. Earlier this season United won 4-1 at Swansea in David Moyes's first Premier League match in charge of United.

Liverpool are without Daniel Sturridge (ankle), Joe Allen (hip) and Mamadou Sakho (hamstring) for Sunday's FA Cup tie with Oldham. Youngsters Brad Smith and Jordan Rossiter have been in recent Reds squads and could be options again. Oldham could hand debuts to January signings, winger David Worrall and midfielder Simon Harkins.
Danny Philliskirk, Charlie MacDonald and James Dayton are all options after recent injuries. Oldham are struggling near the bottom of League One and could include midfielder Anton Rodgers, the 20-year-old son of Liverpool manager Brendan.
Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe said Rodgers Snr will not let sentiment get in the way of the Reds reaching the fourth round.
"When I was watching the Oldham game when they played Mansfield in the previous round we [he and Rodgers] texted each other and said there was a chance Anton may be involved," said Pascoe.
"It will be a bit of fun for Brendan and Anton, but we are focused on winning."
Oldham manager Lee Johnson, the Football League's youngest manager at 32, believes his side can repeat last season's FA Cup feat when they beat Liverpool 3-2 at Boundary Park in the fourth round.
"A lot of these players, with such a big turnaround, weren't involved last year but it's proof of what can be done," said Johnson.

"We'll be going there to do our best and try and get a result. Why not? There's nothing for us to lose."
This is the third consecutive season that Liverpool have met Oldham in the FA Cup. Liverpool won 5-1 in the third round at Anfield in 2012, but were beaten 3-2 at Boundary Park in the fourth round in 2013.
Oldham's victory at Boundary Park last season is their only win in five previous FA Cup meetings between the two teams.

Chelsea defender David Luiz could return after suspension in Sunday's FA Cup third-round clash with Derby. Frank Lampard (muscular injury), Branislav Ivanovic (knee) and Marco van Ginkel (knee) all remain unavailable through injury. Derby goalscoring midfielder Craig Bryson faces a fitness test after sustaining a knock on Boxing Day.
Rams head coach Steve McClaren may use the opportunity to give Jeff Hendrick some playing time. The Rams have been in impressive form since McClaren took charge at the end of September, and have won eight of their past 10 fixtures. And Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho knows an in-form Derby side cannot be underestimated.
"Do we lose? Do we win? Who knows? At least the message is we respect them and we go there with the best possible team," he said.
"The next game after Derby is Hull at the weekend. We can play against Derby and have a day off on Monday.
"I think the players are also keen on it, to go with a strong side and at least tell our opponent that we are going there with maximum respect."
Despite Derby's good form under McClaren, the former England manager knows Chelsea will present their toughest examination of the season.
"This is a huge test for us and we're up against a side that, I would expect, will finish in the top two in the Premier League. I'd be surprised if they don't," he said.
"The players need to show self-belief and that comes from demonstrated ability, as confidence does, and we would like to think we have built it up over the last few months.

"It's about us too - we know how good Chelsea are but we need to remember what we do well every week and not go into our shells."
This is the seventh FA Cup meeting between Derby and Chelsea. Each team has won twice and there have been two draws.
Their most recent FA Cup meeting was in the third round in 1988, when Chelsea won 3-1 at the Baseball Ground.
Derby were FA Cup winners for the only time in 1946. Chelsea have won the competition seven times, with all seven of their FA Cup victories coming between 1970 and 2012.

The experienced midfield pair of Chris Aitken and Marc Corcoran both missed out due to injury as the Stair Park side ended the Ibrox side’s 15 game winning run in League 1 and they are ruled out of this game as well.
Manager Aitken said: “This would be a huge game to win because the gap between ourselves and the teams outside the top four would widen to 8 points.”
“The last time we played Ayr we gave a marvellous performance in a 6-3 win. The players were magnificent going forward that night and if we could that again I would be delighted.”
Ayr United have a full squad available to player/ manager Mark Roberts with stopper Martyn Campbell back in amongst things following a broken metatarsal that had ruled him out for 2 months.

Despite an abundance of players Roberts is likely to stick with the side that has done will in their last couple of games as he advised: “We have had two wins in a row and two clean sheets in a row so it would be unfair to make any changes. We were particularly good in the second half last week against East Fife and I want that standard again.”
Roberts is however not interested in revenge for the 6-3 game as he explained: “I said at the time that the game was freakish and I stick by that now. Everything went right for Stranraer that night and everything went wrong for us. Nothing like it had happened before or since.”
“I am not motivated by revenge for it all I want to do is win this game and move above Stranraer in the table.”

Rochdale v Leeds FA Cup Spotland 4 Janember 2014 – Kickoff time 15:00 GMT

Rochdale will be without suspended defender Michael Rose for their FA Cup clash with Leeds.

Rose was sent off for two bookable offences during the New Year's Day defeat at Scunthorpe and sits out a one-game ban so Rhys Bennett could step in at right-back.

Striker George Donnelly came off the bench to play another 25 minutes as he looks to build up his match fitness following an ankle injury and could play a bigger part against Leeds.

Boss Keith Hill has no other new injury or suspension problems as his side prepare to face the Whites for only the third time and the first in nearly 36 years.

Leeds pair Alex Mowatt and Paddy Kenny are both injury doubts.

Midfielder Mowatt returned to the starting line-up in the 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn after a two-game rest, but required an injection in his back and was forced off late in the game.

Goalkeeper Kenny played the full 90 minutes against Blackburn, but was clearly hindered by the ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's defeat at Nottingham Forest, while leading goalscorer Ross McCormack has been nursing tight hamstrings.

Alex Cairns could start in goal for Leeds as Jamie Ashdown remains sidelined.

Teenage winger Gboly Ariyibi made his second appearance for the club as a second-half substitute on New Year's Day and is hoping for a third outing.
Michael Rose is Rochdale's only absentee as the League Two side hope to upset Leeds in the FA Cup third round.

Defender Rose is suspended following his red card in the 3-0 defeat at Scunthorpe on New Year's Day.

Leeds midfielder Alex Mowatt (back) and striker Ross McCormack (hamstring) are both doubtful, but goalkeeper Paddy Kenny (ankle) should play.

Former Southampton winger Gboly Ariyibi could make his first start for the Championship club.

Everton v QPR FA Cup Goodison Park 4 Janember 2014 – Kickoff time 15:00 GMT

Team News

Everton have been struggling with injuries recently, centre-backs Phil Jagielka and Sylvain Distin are both out will hamstring problems, so Antolin Alcaraz and John Stones are likely to feature in tomorrows fixture. Gerard Deulofeu, Arouna Kone and Darron Gibson will all be watching from the sidelines for the Blues. After a few Christmas fixtures, it is likely Everton will be rotating the squad.

The R's will also be rotating their squad, as they have also emerged from the Christmas break. On-loan midfielder Tom Carroll is unavailable for QPR, however Tottenham have confirmed that they will allow other loanee, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, to feature for them.

Form

Roberto Martinez's first season in charge is getting better and better by every game. The Blues have only lost 2 times in the league this campaign, and it is clear Roberto wants to pick up a trophy for Everton this season. Everton ended 2013 with just 2 home defeats (Wigan and Sunderland) all year, teams such as Manchester City, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea have all failed to win at Goodison Park. QPR will have a tough game.

QPR on the other hand are 3rd in the Championship, and have only lost once since late October. But they haven't been as lethal away as they have been at home, The Hoops have only won 4 times from 12 trips on the road, Everton will be looking to make the home advantage count and not to get a draw, to face QPR at home.

Out of favour Everton striker Nikica Jelavic could make his first start for the club since September.

Johnny Heitinga's involvement is in doubt because of his desire to seek a transfer away from Goodison.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto, on loan from Tottenham, could make his debut for Queens Park Rangers after receiving special permission from his parent club.

Harry Redknapp will rest several players including defenders Richard Dunne and Danny Simpson.

Aston Villa v Sheff Utd FA Cup Villa Park 4 Janember 2014 – Kickoff time 15:00 GMT

Aston Villa's peripheral strike duo Nicklas Helenius and Jordan Bowery could start on Saturday.

Captain Ron Vlaar (calf) will not feature and is likely to be replaced by Ciaran Clark.

Sheffield United trio Jose Baxter, Chris Porter and Stephen McGinn (all ankle) should be fit to feature.

If Baxter or Porter fail to prove their fitness, Shaun Miller could deputise in midfield, while a host of players could come in for McGinn.

Provisional Aston Villa squad: Guzan, Steer, Baker, Lowton, Luna, Bacuna, Donacien, Clark, El Ahmadi, Albrighton, Westwood, Sylla, Tonev, Delph, Gardner, Helenius, Weimann, Benteke, Bowery, Agbonlahor.

The 22-year-old has been a fringe player for Paul Lambert's side so far this campaign, but could find himself in the starting line-up because of striker Libor Kozak's long-term injury.

Fellow forward Jordan Bowery could also get a nod in attack ahead of Christian Benteke, who has just returned from a knee problem.

However, Villa captain Ron Vlaar will miss out after suffering a recurrence of his calf problem and will be replaced in the team by Ciaran Clark.

Meanwhile, United manager Nigel Clough could have to make do without the services of Jose Baxter and Stephen McGinn.

Both the striker and the midfielder picked up ankle injuries during the Blades' 2-1 defeat at Walsall in League One on New Year's Day and had to be substituted in the second half of that contest.

Jamie Murphy and Shaun Miller will be given the nod ahead of the duo, while midfielder Conor Coady will play his last match for the club before returning to his parent club Liverpool.Aston Villa's quest to end a 57-year drought without FA Cup success starts with a tricky third-round encounter against Sheffield United.

Only three teams can boast more FA Cup triumphs than Villa's haul of seven, but you have to go back as far as 1957 for the last time the club lifted the iconic trophy with a 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

The Midlands outfit did reach the final in 2000 under the management of John Gregory, but fell to a 1-0 defeat versus Chelsea courtesy of Roberto Di Matteo's second-half strike.

Manager Paul Lambert is charged with the task of bringing cup glory back to Villa, and the Scot will be hopeful of doing better than last year's effort when the side fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Millwall in the fourth round.

Villa head into Saturday's encounter with the League One outfit on the back of a 1-0 success at Sunderland in Premier League, as Gabriel Agbonlahor's effort ended a frustrating run of five top-flight matches without a win.

The match against Gus Poyet's outfit saw a return for striker Christian Benteke following a three-match absence with a knee injury.

Blackburn v Man City FA Cup Ewood Park 4 Janember 2014 – Kickoff time 12:45 GMT

Aaron Mokoena and Matt Derbyshire were Blackburn's heroes seven years ago as Mark Hughes's men dumped out Stuart Pearce's City at Ewood Park to reach the semi-final. Mokoena later saw red for a second booking.

Much has changed at both clubs in the interim, indeed Rovers' 1-0 win in the following home league game v City is their only win in the following 10 against them.

Rovers are now managed by Gary Bowyer. His father Ian won the FA Cup with Manchester City in 1969 and two European Cups with Nottingham Forest.
Blackburn midfielder David Dunn trained with the squad on Friday and could feature following a hamstring injury.

Rovers right-back Todd Kane misses out with a thigh strain but Jason Lowe returns after a one-match suspension.

Manchester City playmaker David Silva returns from suspension but midfielder Jack Rodwell (hamstring) is out.

Strikers Sergio Aguero (calf) and Stevan Jovetic (hamstring), and defenders Micah Richards and Martin Demichelis (hamstring) are also out.

After four games in 12 days over Christmas, and a League Cup date with West Ham next Wednesday, City boss Manuel Pellegrini says he must utilise his squad.

He said: "We are going to make changes because we are playing too often in the last (few) weeks.

"We are going to try to have a good squad and to win the first game in our FA Cup (campaign) because for our team it is an important cup.

"I said from the beginning of the season if we are going to play in every competition we must play with exactly the same importance.

"The FA Cup is a very traditional competition here in England and in every country of Europe the cup is always an important competition.

"I just told the players it an important test for us, not only for the team but for individual performances."
