Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston will choose from a similar squad to the one on duty in the win over St Mirren.Midfielders James Fowler (knee) and David Silva (knock) have been missing along with defender Ismael Bouzid.
Swansea defender Alan Tate goes straight into the Aberdeen squad after joining on loan.
Reading's Michael Hector plays his last game before his loan deal expires, while Andrew Considine (calf) and Clark Robertson (knee) remain out.
Kilmarnock winger Chris Johnston: "We're aiming for the top six and Kris Boyd is the type of player who could make the difference in us achieving that.
"If he keeps scoring the goals then we have a great chance. But then it is up to us to keep creating the chances so he can take them.
"We know if we put the right ball into the right area he will score goals.
"The top six is something we can definitely aim for. We're on a decent run right now and if we can keep that up we then we can start looking up the way rather than down."
Aberdeen defender Alan Tate: "Aberdeen is pretty similar to Swansea in that it is the only club in the city, so you can see the potential there, as it is a big enough city.
"I'm sure if the club improves further on how it did last year, the attendances will get even bigger.
"Everybody knows about the time when Sir Alex Ferguson was here and them winning the European cups so you are aware of what the club has done in the past.
"But it's a new challenge for me and that is one of the reasons why I have come up here. We play Kilmarnock on Sunday but I wouldn't even know where Kilmarnock is? Is it a city?
"I've played in every league in England and was happy with how things have gone down there. This is a different challenge and one that I'm ready for. I've never played up in Scotland and if you spend all your life where you are comfortable, you won't achieve much."
