AC Milan play host to Udinese in Serie A this weekend looking to turn around their underwhelming season.

Massimiliano Allegri's side went down 3-2 at Juventus in their last outing, a result which saw them drop to 12th in the league table.

Mario Balotelli will miss out for the hosts after sustaining a thigh injury, joined on the sidelines by long-time absentee Stephan El Shaarawy.

Udinese go into the match in eighth with 10 points from seven games. A win at the San Siro could move them up to fifth, while defeat may see them plummet into the bottom half of the table.
Milan: Abbiati; Zaccardo, Zapata, Mexes, Constant; Poli, De Jong, Muntari, Montolivo, Robinho; Matri

Udinese: Guidolin, Naldo, Danilo, Domizzi, Basta, Pinzi, Badu, Pasquale, Maicosuel, Pereyra, Di Natale

The world's best player was focusing on his recovery from injury, the manager Gerardo Martino was scouting the talent on display at the B team and -- if the rumours are to be believed -- the board have been busy too, reportedly striking deals with a couple of German internationals. However, in contrast to the certainty of the international break, the domestic scene (for FC Barcelona at least) is surrounded by mystery. We know what's been happening behind the scenes but does any of it matter?
Will Barcelona ever drop points this season?
Probably, but they've shown no sign of doing so thus far. In 10 matches between La Liga and Champions League play, Barcelona have come away with 10 wins. Even when a team managed to earn a draw against them—Atletico Madrid did so in both Super Cup games—Barcelona still won the fixture on away goals.
Things haven't been so rosy for Osasuna. The team has taken just six points from their first eight matches and currently sits in the relegation zone, 18th on the table. A match against mighty Barcelona seems unlikely to halt a tough start to their La Liga campaign.
