Bolton's new loan signing Neil Danns will go straight into the squad, but Joe Mason has returned to Cardiff.
Midfielder Stuart Holden (knee) remains sidelined, but Mark Davies should keep his place following his long-awaited return from injury.
Blackpool with be without defender Kirk Broadfoot, who serves the third of a four-game suspension.
Midfielder Isaiah Osbourne will also miss the match as he remains sidelined with a hamstring problem.
Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has on-loan Leicester midfielder Neil Danns available for the FA Cup third round clash with Sky Bet Championship rivals Blackpool.
Danns is in contention to go straight into Freedman's squad after re-signing on loan until the end of the season.
Wanderers will be without loan duo Jan Gregus and Joe Mason after they returned to Banik Ostrava and Cardiff respectively.
Stuart Holden (knee) remains sidelined but Mark Davies should start once more following his long-awaited return from injury.
Meanwhile, Blackpool boss Paul Ince welcomes Chris Basham back into his squad for the trip to Bolton.
Basham missed the 2-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on New Year's Day through suspension but is in contention to return.
Defender Kirk Broadfoot serves the third match of a four-game ban, while loanees Tyler Blackett, Nathan Delfouneso, Dan Gosling, Bradley Orr and Marvin Zeelegaar have returned to their parent clubs.
Isaiah Osbourne remains out with a hamstring injury, while Ricardo Fuller could feature once again after recovering from the same problem.
