Real Madrid will look for a swift response to defeat in the first Clasico of the season when they entertain Sevilla on Wednesday.Madrid were incensed after the game as they felt they should have had two penalties, one for a handball by Adriano and another for a push on Cristiano Ronaldo by Javier Mascherano.

But those protests were waved away by referee Alberto Undiano and Real's run of four straight victories in all competitions came to an end.

The result leaves Ancelotti's side six points adrift of league leaders Barcelona, while they are also five behind local rivals Atletico Madrid.

Madrid will feel confident of getting back on track against Sevilla though, as they have beaten Unai Emery's charges in eight of their last nine meetings in all competitions. The tie also represents the perfect chance for Ronaldo to get back among the goals, as the Portuguese has scored 11 times in just five games against the Andalusians.

Xabi Alonso once again trained with Madrid's first team on Sunday as he continues his comeback from groin and foot injuries but is unlikely to play against Sevilla, while centre-back Raphael Varane (knee) is a doubt.

Sevilla have recovered from a slow start to their campaign that saw them go five matches without a victory in La Liga, and are now unbeaten in seven in all competitions.

That run includes a sequence of five league fixtures without defeat, including Sunday's 2-1 success over Osasuna that left them in 10th position with 13 points.

Emery will be without on-loan Chelsea winger Marko Marin, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, while midfielder Ivan Rakitic will hope to feature despite problems with his groin and hip

AC Milan host Lazio on Wednesday with coach Massimiliano Allegri looking for answers following his team's 3-2 reverse against Parma last time out.
Sunday's defeat was Milan's fourth of the campaign and with the Rossoneri having picked up just three wins from their opening nine games, Allegri is starting to feel the heat.
``We have yet to find balance in our performances,'' Allegri said. ``The defeat at Parma is painful because it leaves us further away from the top six positions.
``Now our task becomes more difficult.
``But we must believe in ourselves and take it one step at a time.''
The Rossoneri lie 10th in the standings, 16 points adrift of leaders Roma and 11 behind Juventus, who are third and occupy the last Champions League qualifying spot.
Milan's main problem has been their poor form away from home, with the Rossoneri having mustered just two points from a possible 15 away from the San Siro.
``It's clear that things are not falling into place when playing on the road,'' Allegri said. ``We certainly need to improve our performances away from home if we are to have any hope of climbing up the standings.''
Lazio, meanwhile, travel to the San Siro inspired by Sunday's 2-0 triumph over Cagliari.
The result halted a run of three games without a win for the Biancoceleste and allowed coach Vladimir Petkovic to breathe a big sigh of relief.
``We have three more points and we have taken a step forward,'' he said. ``The team needs to remain calm and believe in the job we are doing.
``We can still do better but the important thing is that my team showed that in difficult times we can react.''
The victory lifted Lazio up to seventh, three points above Milan.
The Romans have taken just one point away from home this season but will be hoping the return of striker Miroslav Klose to the starting XI will guide them to victory.
Klose came on as a second-half substitute against Cagliari and inspired his team to victory by scoring the opener.
The hosts are without defender Matias Silvestre, who sustained a thigh injury on Sunday and will sit out Milan's next two league games.

Juventus will attempt to extend their seven-match unbeaten run against Catania in Serie A when the two sides meet on Wednesday.
Juve have also lost just once in Serie A this term, and bounced back from their 4-2 defeat at Fiorentina - which they followed up with a 2-1 Champions League reverse at Real Madrid - with a comfortable 2-0 home success against Genoa on Sunday.

"Now we'll be confident in approaching Wednesday's game against Catania."
Forwards Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic and defender Stephan Lichtsteiner all remain sidelined with thigh injuries, and are unlikely to return in time to face Luigi De Canio's side.
Catania sit just outside the Serie A relegation zone in 17th position after taking just six points from nine matches so far this campaign.
They have failed to win in their last three league fixtures, including a 0-0 stalemate with fellow strugglers Sassuolo on Sunday.
The Stadio Angelo Massimino outfit are also winless in their last 10 top-flight away games, and are the division's lowest scorers this season, having found the net just six times.

Series Genl Info: New episodes continue to air on FX, with reruns playing on Comedy Central, The CW, and WGN America—the first-ever cable-to-cable syndication deal for a sitcom. The show began as a short film idea written by Rob McElhenney and Glenn Howerton about a man telling his friend he has cancer, while the friend's only intent is on trying to borrow a cup of sugar. This was then developed into a pilot called It's Always Sunny on TV and was shot on a digital camcorder by Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, and Rob McElhenney.This pilot was shopped by the actors around various studios, their pitch being simply showing the DVD of the pilot to executives. After viewing the pilot, FX Network ordered the first season. Although it is often stated publicly that the pilot was shot for $200, the makers of the show have claimed that the cost was much lower because the only costs were videotapes. Series Genl Info: Since the show's success,the series now takes precedence in their lives, but they are still honorary employees with the company and continue to do jobs for them if time permits.The show is unrelated to the original 1996 Inca Productions show Ghosthunters produced for the Discovery Channel. The format was sold to Pilgrim Films & Television in the United States to become Ghost Hunters. The only link between the two shows is presenter Ian Cashmore who anchored the UK/Europe show. Cashmore piloted the U.S. show, but chose not to remain part of the U.S.Since the series began airing, TAPS has recorded thousands of hours of audio and video data. Most investigations, according to TAPS, turn up cold with very little, if any, paranormal activity occurring; however, the ghost hunters claim to have several decent recordings of moving objects, mysterious lights, strange mists, and shadowy figures that manifest before the camera and are highlighted at the end of the show.....Syfy categorizes the program as a docu-soap. In addition to the investigative aspect, the show has also presented personal conflicts and relationships among members of the TAPS team. Portions of some episodes portray Hawes and Wilson involved with their plumbing job or personal lives, but this varies by episode and is not always included. As the series progressed, however, the "behind-the-scenes" and "docu-soap" aspects have been reduced, and the fifth season has so far focused primarily on the investigations, with virtually none of the docu-soap material that characterized earlier episodes.....This one-hour weekly docu-soap from the creator/executive producer of "American Chopper" follows a group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate haunted houses throughout the country, encountering every type of imaginable haunting. "But, because it is a cup game, rules might change and so we practised penalties today.
"We have had one penalty kick this season - in Russia. They play the rules that if it hits your hand it is a penalty, but unfortunately Bob McHugh missed it.
"But we have been practising them this morning and it might have made my mind up on who is on the bench because a few slotted them away nicely and a few blazed them over the bar.
"It is a bit tongue in cheek. Refereeing is a tough job, there is no doubt about that.
"But there has certainly been times this season when we merited penalty kicks and didn't get them."

Aberdeen midfielder Barry Robson : "The manager has the mentality, not of winning every week but being at our best every week, especially work-rate and organisation-wise.
"He doesn't expect you to be terrific every week, but he demands you to be working hard for your team-mates and giving everything you've got and I think you can see that in all the players. It makes an awful big difference.
"Yes, there's an expectation level here at Aberdeen. There's been a lot of good players and managers here over the years.
"The fans expect us to do well and we're doing that at the minute, but there's a long way to go.
"Everyone knows how hard it is to go to Motherwell and get a win, so the feet are on the ground.
"We came in after the game on Saturday when the boys played terrifically well and the manager says we should enjoy it for the next 20 minutes and move on, because, if you want to be a top player at a top club and win things, that's what needs to happen.
"And that drive and determination is in that dressing-room, so let's hope we can keep it up."

Greenock Morton manager Allan Moore: "We seem to go from one extreme to the other. We obviously had a great result against Celtic, which everybody got the praise for.
"Players are raising their games for some games and it's not good enough for others.
"But myself and Mark McNally will take the brunt of it, because the manager's the one who puts the team out on the pitch.
"I would have swapped that result for three victories in the league over the last couple of weeks, because that's where it matters most.
"The players have now got to stand up and be counted.
"We went there to frustrate Celtic, to try to nick a goal and get everybody behind the ball and our game plan paid off.
"It paid off because we defended really well in our box, which baffles us at this moment in time why we're losing goals in our own league, but it's a different mentality, a different set-up.

"In our league, you've got to go and attack teams. Against Celtic, they needed to attack us and the onus was on them.
"I felt we deserved to win the game, not through our great football but through the fact our resilience pulled through.
"For some reason, we have just not kicked on from that result.
"However, we have the chance to get our season going by winning this tie."
St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright: "They are the only team to beat Celtic this year, so they've obviously got good players.
"They've not really done it in the league so far. But, in a one-off game, they have shown they are capable of beating the best team in the country.
"That's what makes it a difficult game for us.
"It doesn't make us more wary of them. We respect everybody that we play and we don't expect to just turn up and win games.
"We will approach the game as though we were playing any top-flight club.
"We can't go into the game thinking we are just going to win and it's going to be easy."
The defender was suspended for the weekend Scottish Premiership win over Motherwell but is back in contention for the cup clash.

Hearts assistant manager Billy Brown: "I've never found being involved in an Edinburgh derby a headache.
"It's something really to look forward to. They're great games to take part in and this one is as well.
"As far as the distraction is concerned, no, it's not a distraction. It's something that everybody in here relishes and we're fully looking forward to the task ahead.
"Reading the papers and listening to everybody, they've never given us a chance. As far as I can see, all the pressure's on Hibs. They've signed loads of players.
"It's a game that we're desperate to win and these games do mean more to the supporters than any other game."

The Latics are the lowest placed of seven clubs still unbeaten at home in the Championship, and are vying for a fourth successive win at the DW, having scored twice in each of their five home league fixtures to date.
Owen Coyle's charges have scored as many league goals as QPR (14) having played one game fewer, but have only won half as many games; four to Rangers' eight.
All three of their home victories have been against higher-placed clubs.

Queens Park Rangers
A ninth league win of the season would see the third-placed Hoops leapfrog Leicester, and climb to within two points of leaders Burnley.
Harry Redknapp's side are already on their longest winless sequence of the season of two games, having become the last club in England to lose their unbeaten league record, when defeated 2-0 by leaders Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Despite conceding two goals in each of the last two games, Rangers still boast the tightest defence in the Football League (with just six goals shipped), and an unrivalled total of eight clean sheets - all accrued in a club record sequence between 17 August and 5 October.
