Tottenham and Hull lock horns again just days after Spurs narrowly beat the Tigers 1-0 at White Lane Hart in a game that was short on excitement, but full of interest post-match thanks to the comments of Andre Villas-Boas.
The Spurs manager hit out at the club's supporters saying that they created a "very difficult atmosphere" that was "very tense, very negative" for his players. It will be interesting to see how those fans react during Wednesday's re-match that could again be a very tight encounter, with goals at a premium.
Hull again proved they are very hard side to break down and they have conceded just 10 goals in nine matches on their return to the top flight.
Given that Spurs have scored just nine in nine, the Tottenham natives may well be in for another night that is not conducive to creating the cacophony that AVB requires.

This is their first meeting in the League Cup.
Hull have only won once at White Hart Lane - a 1-0 victory in their first-ever season in the Premier League in October 2008.

Tottenham
Spurs have not lost in 90 minutes at home in the League Cup since losing 3-1 to Birmingham City in October 2000 - a run of 18 matches.
Before beating Aston Villa in the last round, Tottenham were knocked out in their preceding four League Cup matches against top-flight opposition.
They have won the competition four times in 1971, 1973 , 1999 and 2008.

Hull City
Hull have reached the fourth round of the League Cup for the first time since 1977-78, when they lost 5-1 at Arsenal.
The Tigers have been eliminated on six of the last seven occasions that they have faced Premier League opposition in this competition.
That win came at Wigan Athletic in August 2008, the only occasion they have won over 90 minutes away from home against top flight opposition in 20 League Cup matches.

Episode Summary:
Sam and Dean discover that the table in the Men of Letters house (the one that lit up like a Christmas Tree when the angels fell), has an ancient computer attached to it. They figure if they can get the computer on, they can track the angels. Who better to call for help than the best IT girl there is, Charlie? While moving the massive computer, they dislodge a hidden hexbag that unleashes a magical green-webbed wall. Sam and Dean break through it and discover the one and only Dorothy from Oz. She had trapped herself and the wicked witch in the web years ago to stop the witch from finding the key that would open the gate that connected their world with Oz. With the wall broken, a massive and magical fight ensues that threatens to destroy the Men of Letters house.

This week, the contestants are surprised to find that the gym is empty - and the only equipment they'll be able to use is equipment they've successfully bid on with "Biggest Loser" bucks in the show's first ever auction, run by host Alison Sweeney. Trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett and the players have to get creative to make the most of their limited equipment. Series Genl Info: It is based on a screenplay developed by J. J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan. A criminal drama by Jonathan Nolan and an executive producer J. J. Abrams. In the center of attention there is an FBI agent Reese who is thought to be dead and the one hired by a reclusive billionaire Finch in order to fight against crime in New York. Reese’s special strategic skills and a computer program developed by Finch are used now for recognizing the people who are going to commit a crime. Tracking system gives out social security numbers of those people who are under suspicion. The team has to act outlaw and risk their lives in order to protect other lives.  Finch explains that after 9/11, he built a computer system for the government which uses information gleaned from omnipresent surveillance to predict future terrorist attacks. However, Finch discovered that the computer was predicting ordinary crimes as well. While the government was not interested in these results, Finch is determined to find a way to stop the predicted crimes. He hires Reese to conduct surveillance and intervene as needed, using his repertoire of skills gained in the military and CIA......The machine separates the information gathered into two categories: relevant and irrelevant. Finch, however, discovered that the irrelevant information often led to other acts of violent crime.
