Manchester City will not risk captain Vincent Kompany or striker Sergio Aguero against Barnsley on Saturday.Defender Kompany has missed the last six games with calf problems while Aguero pulled out of Monday's game at Aston Villa with knee trouble.

Barnsley midfielder Stephen Dawson could have a late fitness test on an ankle injury having missed the Tykes' last nine matches.
Manager David Flitcroft has no new injury or suspension problems.

• Manchester City hold a 50% winning record against Barnsley, having prevailed in 16 of their 32 competitive meetings over 115 years; the Tykes have won six.
• City have scored 15 goals in their last three matches with the South Yorkshire club, crushing them 7-1 most recently in the second round of the League Cup in September 2004 on this ground.

Manchester City
• Five times winners and four times runners-up, Manchester City are trying to reach the semi-finals for only the second time in 32 seasons but they're also attempting to win the trophy for the second time in three years and the second in four attempts under Roberto Mancini.
• City were knocked out by Championship clubs in 2008 (Sheffield United) and 2009 (Nottingham Forest), but since then they've eliminated all six second tier sides they've confronted, including Watford and Leeds in the current run in which they have not conceded a single goal.
• If selected, Edin Dzeko will be making his 100th Manchester City appearance.
Barnsley
• Having won their first FA Cup ties in five seasons, Barnsley are now aiming to pull off their biggest shock since 2008 when they last reached the semi-finals, knocking out Liverpool and Chelsea in the process.
• Since then the 1912 winners and 1910 runners-up have twice been knocked-out by top-flight West Ham and once by Swansea. Manchester City is the first Premier League they are meeting in this run, in which one goal has been conceded from three successive victories.
• Leading scorer Chris Dagnall has netted three of Barnsley's five FA Cup goals.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "We go to Ross County, who are having a fabulous season.
"Derek has done wonders there but going from Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions League, to Dingwall, in some people's minds, is a step down but in my view it is a very important game.
"You have got to motivate the players, there is a championship to win and you've got your own targets to achieve."

However, fellow 'Well defender Simon Ramsden is available after missing the victory over Hearts after picking up a knock.
Aberdeen manager Craig Brown: "You've got an accountability to everyone here at the football club - the chairman, the board, the fans. You've got that in every game.
"I want the best for Aberdeen Football Club, that's my job. I'm certainly accountable.
"But I don't feel pressure. I'm not losing sleep.
"I think the fair-minded people will look and say that we've had some misfortune but we've had some poor performances.
"Not all that many, I would have to say, but the last game was one of them and we must get that out of our system.
"I'm not contemplating not being in the top six. I'm optimistic about it and we're focused on getting there."
Motherwell manager Stuart McCall: "I think they have the strongest squad outwith Celtic.
"I'm sure if they had a full squad throughout the season they would be higher up but nobody is saying they can't put three or four victories together and be right up there at the end of the season.
"We went to Ross County and didn't adapt to the conditions well and got beat.
"Aberdeen's (pitch) doesn't look to be in the best condition. It's the same for both sides but it does affect your planning and selection."

Brighton & Hove Albion
