"Defensively we are really thin on the ground again but Luca Gasparotto has done well and we've got one or two others who have come in and done well," said Gers boss Ally McCoist.
"Andy Mitchell is one of those who did well at right back and then we switched him to left back so we'll shuffle things around."
One positive for McCoist is the return of midfielder Lewis Macleod, who is primed to make his first appearance following three months on the sidelines.
"He will feature tomorrow," said McCoist. "If the fans want to see anybody out on that park tomorrow it would be Lewis.
"He's certainly been one of the stars of our team this year. In terms of a young lad coming in he has done tremendously well."
Berwick travel to Glasgow needing at least a point to ensure a place in the playoffs.
The Black and Gold are three points clear of fifth-placed Elgin, who are favourites to defeat bottom club East Stirling at home.
Currently the Glasgow side sit 24 points ahead of Peterhead in second, but for Berwick they need to keep Elgin City off their back.
It’s going to be a tough ask for the away team as Rangers have only lost two of their last nine matches and although technically they have nothing to play for than pride, the quality players they still boast at the club will make this far from a walkover.
As for Berwick four defeats in their last six matches, including a 0-2 loss at home to Annan Athletic last week, have made things look decidedly tricky for the visitors heading into the last game of the season.
Rangers manager Ally McCoist will want the club to leave the division with a bang but Berwick will be doing their up-most to ensure they don’t.
Rangers prepare to entertain Berwick Rangers at Ibrox at lunchtime on Saturday, aiming to preserve their record of never having lost at home to the visitors. The Gers have drawn both of the previous games against their opponents, however.
The most recent encounter between these two sides at Ibrox was earlier this season, when they eased past their opponents in a high-scoring 4-2 thriller, in a Scottish Division Three match.
