QPR's long-expected relegation was confirmed on Sunday when a dismal 0-0 draw away to Reading saw both clubs consigned to a return to the Championship for next season.

Rs boss Harry Redknapp, whose appointment in November failed to produce the hoped-for upturn in fortunes despite heavy investment in the January transfer window, has pledged to remain at the helm in the second tier.

Redknapp can use the final three games of the season to assess his squad for the challenges that lie ahead, but there are likely to be significant changes to the Loftus Road playing staff over the summer.

Arsenal will again be without suspended striker Olivier Giroud for Saturday's trip to relegated QPR.

Theo Walcott, who scored against Manchester United, and Lukas Podolski are both pressing for a central attacking role.

Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (rib) remains sidelined, while midfielder Abou Diaby (knee) is a long-term absentee.

Rangers have already been relegated and could still be without on-loan Tottenham Andros Townsend (hamstring) and Christopher Samba (knee), although the latter has a late fitness test.

Shaun Wright-Phillips (ankle) and Andrew Johnson (knee) will miss the remainder of the season, both having undergone surgery.

Arsenal face a trip to Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road at tea-time on Saturday, hoping to improve upon an average previous return from this fixture. Of the 23 games played, Gunners have recorded 6 wins, and Queens Park Rangers have come away with 11 victories.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Loftus Road was just last season, in March 2012, the Rangers carving out a narrow 2-1 victory in a Premier League match.

The away form of Arsenal however, is much more impressive, with a marvellous return of five wins and one defeat from the last six. The games have constituted a decent return of 10 goals for the Gunners, and 5 goals against.

Queens Park Rangers are stuck down in the relegation zone of Barclays Premier League with a return of just 25 points from their 35 games thus far.

Arsenal's total of 64 points from their 35 games sees them sitting in the playoff places in Barclays Premier League.
