On-loan pair Glenn Loovens and Damian Martinez are expected to retain their places in the starting line-up....Joel Ekstrand is suspended for Watford's home clash against Sheffield Wednesday as Gianfranco Zola's side chase a first win in nine matches. The defender picked up his fifth booking of the season in last weekend's 3-3 draw at Leeds and duly serves a one-match ban.Midfielder Almen Abdi is not yet ready as he steps up his rehabilitation from a long-term foot injury while it is hoped goalkeeper Manuel Almunia is okay to feature after illness.
Lloyd Doyley (hamstring), Essaid Belkalem (ankle) and Tommie Hoban (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
Sheffield Wednesday caretaker-manager Stuart Gray, meanwhile, could make one or two unforced changes to his starting line-up at Watford.
Gray, who will take charge of his third match for the club following the recent sacking of Dave Jones, has no new injury or suspension worries, but will still be without Giles Coke and Lewis Buxton.
Midfielder Coke missed last week's home defeat to Nottingham Forest due to a hamstring injury and defender Buxton remains sidelined with a similar problem that has ruled him out of the last two matches.
On-loan pair Glenn Loovens and Damian Martinez are expected to retain their places in defence and in goal respectively but Gray may make changes elsewhere following the 1-0 defeat to Forest.

HEAD TO HEAD
Watford did the double over Sheffield Wednesday last season, winning 2-1 at Vicarage Road after a 4-1 win at Hillsborough.
Fernando Forrestieri scored in both games for Watford and Michail Antonio was on target in both games for Wednesday.
The last 5 meetings between the teams have featured 20 goals, 13 of which have been scored by Watford.
Wednesday have not won at Vicarage Road since a 3-1 win there in November 2000.

WATFORD
Watford are looking to avoid a 5th consecutive home defeat.
Watford have not won any of their last 8 matches- this is the longest current winless run in the Championship
Of those 8 matches they have lost 4 and drawn 4, each of the 4 defeats have been at home.
Watford have collected just 11 points at home this season, only the bottom 4 teams and Birmingham have registered fewer home points.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY
Sheffield Wednesday play their 10th Championship away game of the season and seek their first win away from Hillsborough.
They have collected 5 points away from home so far. Only the bottom side Barnsley have collected fewer points away from home (4).
Caretaker manager Stuart Gray has taken charge for 2 games so far- winning against then League Leaders Leicester before losing to Nottingham Forest.
