Norwich will be without midfielders Anthony Pilkington and Robert Snodgrass, who have hamstring and knee injuries respectively.Striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel is building up his match fitness after a toe injury.New Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has not reported any new injury worries ahead of his first game.
Midfielder Yannick Bolasie begins a three-match suspension for his red card at Hull last weekend.
The Tony Pulis era at Crystal Palace begins at Carrow Road as he starts the improbable, though not impossible, quest to keep them in the Premier League.
If he didn't appear to exactly jump at the chance to take over initially, there's no doubt Pulis is fully focused on the job at hand now he is on board.
As has been well documented, he's never been relegated and isn't about to suffer that fate now without a fight.
I believe he's a good fit for Palace at this moment in time, and stands as good a chance as anyone of getting the best out of the resources at his disposal.
Staying up would be a major bonus of course. He knows that, but luckily for him so does everyone else.
Norwich City also haven't been having the best of times lately and sit in 16th place in the table.
They're only four points better off than their opponents after a poor run that has seen them lose four of the last six league matches.
Manager Chris Hughton kept them up last season but is beginning to feel the heat this time round and the club's current injury situation isn't going to help.
Record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel still isn't match-fit after injury and both Anthony Pilkington and Robert Snodgrass will be out for some time. Alex Tettey and Elliott Bennett are also out for the forseeable future.
It all adds up to less than ideal preparation for what already looks like a key game.
Palace have fared well against Norwich in recent years, winning 2-1 on both of their most recent visits to Norfolk and losing only one of the last 10 meetings between the two clubs.
The presence of a new manager and last week's win at Hull will give them cause for optimism this weekend too.

Head-to-head
Norwich have won just one of the last 10 meetings between the sides, which have all come in the Championship (W1, D3, L6).
But the Canaries are unbeaten against Palace in the Premier League (W3, D3).
Palace have won 2-1 on their last two visits to Carrow Road.

Norwich
Norwich have lost four of their last six league matches.
The Canaries are looking to win back-to-back home matches for the first time this season.
They have conceded 23 league goals this season, the second-worst record in the top flight.
Chris Hughton's side have scored just one first-half goal this season, the lowest tally in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace
Palace ended an eight-match winless streak with a 1-0 victory at Hull last weekend. It was their first Premier League away win in 19 attempts spanning nine years. It was also their first away points of the season.
Palace have scored just seven league goals in 2013-14, the lowest total in the Premier League.
This is Crystal Palace's worst points tally (7) after 12 games of a Premier League season; they have been relegated in all of the previous four top-flight campaigns.
Tony Pulis has never been relegated in his 21 years of football management.
