Middlesbrough prepare to entertain Leicester City at Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and hold the advantage on previous meetings between the two. Of the 39 games played, Boro have recorded 17 wins, and Leicester City have come away with 13 victories.
The most recent encounter between these two sides at Riverside Stadium was less than a year ago, in September 2012, with Leicester City inflicting a narrow 1-2 defeat upon the Boro in a Championship match.
David Nugent, meanwhile, has recovered from a minor injury to also give Foxes boss Nigel Pearson a full complement of players to choose from.
Nugent, the Foxes' leading scorer last season with 16 goals, has missed the last two friendly matches with a thigh strain but the striker will be part of the squad that travels to Teesside.
Zoumana Bakayogo is the only new signing at the King Power Stadium this summer. The former Tranmere defender, who joined the club on a free transfer last week, will provide Paul Konchesky with competition for the left-back spot.
Striker Jermaine Beckford and central midfielder Richie Wellens were the notable departures from Pearson's squad during the close season.
