Aberdeen's Ryan Jack has a knock and captain Russell Anderson will not be risked as he has a tight hamstring as well as being one booking away from suspension.
Forwards Rory Fallon and Peter Pawlett are suspended.
Hearts boss Gary Locke might give outgoing skipper Marius Zaliukas a cameo run-out as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
However, defenders Darren Barr and Brad Mackay are both doubts.
Aberdeen forward Niall McGinn: "I want to have days out at Hampden and win trophies.
"Maybe if a few more results had gone our way this season then we could have done that, but I am confident about next season because of the work the manager has been doing.
"It will not be easy and there is still a lot more hard work ahead of us but there is much to be optimistic about.
"Hopefully we can finish off tomorrow with a win and three points then go and enjoy the summer. Everyone in the dressing room is really looking forward to next season already."
Hearts midfielder Jason Holt: "Sunday's defeat [to Hibernian] was a massive blow for me and everyone at the club, the fans as well.
"The players know we weren't good enough and we will be looking to put that right next season.
"It felt worse than losing the cup final. Both were huge blows but on Sunday it was an Edinburgh derby, both sets of fans were there and we just didn't perform well enough on the day.
"It's really disappointing because we let ourselves and the fans down."
