Leeds United play host to Yeovil Town at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, aiming to preserve their record of never having lost at home to the visitors. All the previous meetings between the two have been won by the Whites.

The last time the two teams met at Leeds United was just over four years ago, in October 2009, as they swept to an impressive 4-0 win in a League One match.

But Leeds could be without Sam Byram, who has only recently returned from a long-term hip injury. The right-back is struggling with a thigh problem and may require a late fitness test.

Left-back Stephen Warnock sustained a knock in training and is also doubtful, while new loan signing Dexter Blackstock is hoping to make his home debut after stepping off the bench to score in last week's defeat at Huddersfield.

Yeovil, meanwhile, are waiting on the fitness of defender Dan Seaborne.

The Glovers make the long trip in high spirits after a memorable 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest last weekend but they may have to manage without the former Southampton centre-back who suffered a problem in a reserve match with Torquay on Tuesday.

"He didn't train on Thursday morning," manager Gary Johnson revealed. "It was quite a hefty knock so we will have to wait and see how he came out of that. It will not keep him out for long but it might keep him out of the weekend."

 Head-to-head

• Leeds hold a 100% home record against Yeovil, having won all three League One matches, scoring nine goals and conceding none.

• The Glovers have never beaten Leeds.

• The sole point that the Somerset club have accrued from their six meetings came from a 1-1 home draw in August 2008, and the only other goal they've put past the Whites occurred in their most recent clash in April 2010 at Huish Park, which Leeds won 2-1.

Leeds United

• Leeds are chasing three straight home wins and their best Elland Road sequence since completing six on the bounce in the Championship on 19 January.

• All five of the Whites' league victories have been against clubs currently below them in the table, and all but one of their six defeats have been to clubs above them.

• Brian McDermott's side remain on the longest current sequence without a draw in the Championship of 10 games.
