Tim Clancy has been passed fit to vie for his position in central
defence with Jordon Forster.
Celtic winger James Forrest and defender Charlie Mulgrew will have to prove their fitness for the Hampden clash, but Adam Matthews is out.
Midfielders Victor Wanyama and Beram Kayal are both suspended.
Celtic are looking to complete a league and cup double.
Manager Neil Lennon rested some of his top performers after they secured their second successive Scottish Premier League title.
But they have scored eight goals without reply in their last two league matches - 4-0 wins over St Johnstone and Dundee United.
They also put three past Hibs without an answer in the last meeting between the sides, in Glasgow in April.
The Edinburgh side won one and drew one their previous two tussles this term and Hibs also finished the league season strongly, albeit in the bottom six of the table.
They finished seventh after six games without defeat, the last three being victories,
However, the Edinburgh club have not lifted the Scottish Cup since 1902 and their last attempt to end that long wait ended in a dismal 5-1 hammering at the hands of city rivals Hearts in last season's final.
Hibs' last triumph came with a 1-0 win over Celtic 111 years ago, but four of their nine Cup final defeats since have come against the Glasgow side.
Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon : "The only way to stop people from asking the question is to win it. It's as simple as that.
"It's the only way to put it to bed and we've got to try to do that.
"We can't do anything about what has gone before, but we've got a great chance and that's something for myself and the players to embrace and enjoy.
"We've had a really tough run to get to the final.
"In every game we've played, we've had to really scrap to get through, from the Hearts game, to Aberdeen and Kilmarnock, and the semi-final against Falkirk was a very difficult game.
"We've had to fight for the right to get here and we don't want to give that up too easily now that we've got there.
"Once we got our place in the final, it was important, in the five games we had left in the league, that we got momentum.
"Fortunately, we have drawn two of them and won three and the players go into this game with big confidence.
"It's a completely different game from last year, it's a completely different squad as well."
Celtic manager Neil Lennon : "The pressure's on both teams. It's a cup final and there's a trophy to play for.
"To have this game at the end of the season, the showpiece game of the season, it's a huge bonus for us.
"I don't want to tempt fate and I don't want to sound blase, we have a game to play.
"We respect Hibs and Pat's done a really good job here it's a second cup final in a row, so they've proved it's no fluke."
