Tottenham's new head coach Tim Sherwood must decide whether to name the same attacking side that beat Southampton. He remains without Aaron Lennon, Younes Kaboul, Paulinho, Andros Townsend and Jan Vertonghen, but Mousa Dembele should overcome a twisted ankle. West Brom's only reported injury doubt is striker Victor Anichebe, who has a groin problem. Goalkeeper Ben Foster is set to retain his place after returning from a foot injury against Hull.
Tottenham surprised a lot of people when they handed Tim Sherwood the job as head coach on a full-time basis on Monday night. To some, it was the length of his contract that raised the most eyebrows as it runs until the end of next season.
There will be a lot of fans delighted that they have appointed someone from within, but also plenty that will be concerned by his lack of managerial experience. He did his cause no harm at all with that excellent win over Southampton on Sunday.
The team he picked was a real crowd pleaser, with no recognised defensive midfielder, and his players certainly seemed to move the ball quicker and poured forward like Tottenham teams of old did under Harry Redknapp.
Emmanuel Adebayor has grasped his return from the cold with both hands, scoring three goals in two games, and fellow striker Roberto Soldado seemed to enjoy having some support up front at long last.
It must be said that the Andre Villas-Boas era at Tottenham was certainly not as bad as some have made out following his departure. He led them to their highest ever points tally in the Premier League last season - and losing Gareth Bale would hurt any team.
Steve Clarke can also feel like he was hard done by in the way that West Brom disposed of his services recently after he had secured West Brom eighth place - their best finish in the Premier League - in May.
They started this season well, and won at Old Trafford no less, but everything seemed to unravel after that controversial draw at Stamford Bridge in which Chelsea were awarded a very debatable penalty. They haven't won a game since.
Caretaker head coach Keith Downing is unlikely to be handed the reins like Sherwood has been at Spurs, but he will be desperate to help the Baggies pick up a rare win at White Hart Lane.

Head-to-head
Spurs are unbeaten in their last seven league games against West Brom (W4, D3).
The Baggies have only won two of 14 Premier League matches against Tottenham.
West Brom's last win at White Hart Lane was a 3-2 victory in November 1984. David Cross, Steve MacKenzie and Derek Statham scored the goals.

Tottenham
Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League fixtures on Boxing Day (W6, D2). The last time they lost on 26 December was in 2003 when David Pleat was temporary boss following the sacking of Glenn Hoddle.
Jermain Defoe has scored six goals in 10 games on Boxing Day - only four players in Premier League history have scored more on this date (Robbie Fowler, Thierry Henry, Robbie Keane and Alan Shearer).
After seven clean sheets in their first 10 league matches of the season, Spurs have gone seven Premier League games without one.
Emmanuel Adebayor's goals against Southampton were the first a striker had scored for Tottenham in eight league games.
Tottenham have won six top-flight away games this season, more than any other side.
They are one point better off than they were after 17 games of last season.

West Brom
West Brom have not won in their last seven Premier League matches.
The Baggies have won only one of their last 10 away games (D4, L5) in the league, but that came at Old Trafford.
This is their eighth Premier League game on 26 December and it will see a seventh different manager in charge of the Baggies.
They are 11 points worst off than they were after 17 games of last season.
