Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele is sidelined with a back injury so Jack Butland will continue in goal.Marcus Pedersen and Chris O'Grady should start up front for the Tykes, but defender Peter Ramage is out with a thigh problem.Sheffield Wednesday will be without suspended Jose Semedo, so Liam Palmer could return in midfield. Head-to-head
Barnsley have won a third of the South Yorkshire league derbies with Sheffield Wednesday; 20 of 60, scoring 75 goals in the process, but have also lost 28 and drawn 12.
The Owls did the double over Barnsley last season, and are vying for a fourth successive victory against them.
Wednesday have lost only one of their last seven visits to the Oakwell Ground; 2-1 in the Championship in October 2008.

Barnsley
Despite making their worst start in 40 years, Barnsley moved off the foot of the table with last Saturday's 3-2 home win over Middlesbrough, and are now seeking successive wins for the first time in 22 league outings since March.
All eight points so far have been secured at the Oakwell Ground, where they are one league goal shy of conceding 2,500 in the 126-year history of the south Yorkshire club.
Scott Wiseman is set to make his 250th career league appearance, while fellow defender Martin Cranie is in line for a 200th career league start.

Sheffield Wednesday
The Owls have experienced their most unsuccessful opening to a league season in 14 years and find themselves with Barnsley in the relegation zone one place and one point inferior with a game in hand, and the only club still without victory in the Championship this season.
No club has drawn more times in this division than Wednesday's seven (including the last three).
They are yet to keep a clean sheet, and have surrendered an unrivalled 13 points from winning positions.
If on the field from the outset, defender Lewis Buxton will be making his 300th club career start.
