Match News:
Blackburn started the season with a well earned point at Derby but lost Ruben Rochina in the first half who looks like being out for some time.

They rested 8 of their team for the League Cup game in midweek but Tom Cairney will be missing after seeing red against Carlisle

Simon cox suffered ankle ligament damage in the League cup win over Hartlepool & is ruled out for up to a month.

Billy Davies now has a selection headache due to some good performances in the midweek game. Paterson, Majewski & Jara Reyes in particular put in stand out performances but to retain their places would have to dislodge either Cohen, Lichaj, Mackie or Lansbury from the opening Championship fixture.

Loanee Tom Cairney is suspended for Blackburn's first home game of the season against Nottingham Forest.
Cairney, borrowed from Hull, picked up a red card after scoring in the Capital One Cup clash with Carlisle on Tuesday and will serve a one-match ban.
He joins a growing list of absentees which includes Ruben Rochina (shoulder), who underwent surgery on Wednesday, DJ Campbell (ankle ligaments) and Lee Williamson (back).
Midfielder Corry Evans and centre-back Matt Kilgallon (both groin) have yet to feature for the club with the former due back in training on Friday while the latter only returned for the reserves at the start of the week.
Defender Adam Henley (hamstring) played 30 minutes in that game on his comeback.
Forest, meanwhile, will be without Simon Cox.
Cox suffered ankle ligament damage during the Capital One Cup win over Hartlepool on Tuesday night and the Republic of Ireland international striker is expected to be out for up to three weeks.
Matt Derbyshire, who replaced Cox against the League Two side and scored in the 3-1 victory, will hope to get the nod against his old club but Darius Henderson and Ishmael Miller will also be competing to start up front.
Winger Jamie Paterson will hope his man-of-the- match performance in midweek can earn him a starting berth.
