This Super Cup will be played in Amsterdam, which mean that Ajax will be a host.
Ajax kept all important players from last season, plus they brought Krkic and van der Hoorn. They are "champions" from last season and they will play in group stage of Champions League. Their main target is to start the new season with a title in this competition.
AZ Alkmaar finished in the middle in last season. For this season they lost two important players: Altidore (top scorer 33/23 in last season) who gone to Sunderland for 10 millions euros and Maher (second scorer 31/7) who gone to PSV for 8 milion euros. That are two important players and their attacking line will be much weaker now.
I think that Ajax is much better team. They will play at home and I expect one easy win for them. Maybe something like 3:0; 3:1...GL !
The last Eredivisie champion Ajax has just played 4 pre-games on July and they won all the games against,D.Dresden,De Graafschap,Osasuna and Werder Bremen. They still have some important players from last season. Sigthorsson,Boerrigter,Danny Hoesen,Viktor Fischer,Siem de Jong. And my favorites;Schöne and Tobias Sana.Also added new players Bojan Krkic from Barca and Mike van der Hoorn from FC Utrecht.
AZ Alkmaar has lost 2 key players, Adam Maher to PSV and J.Altidore to Sunderland but signed with 2 defensive players Jeffrey Gouweleeuw from Heerenveen and Jan Wuytens from FC Utrecht. And also offnesive midfielder Gudelj from NAC Breda.
