Brian McLean and Keith Watson, who suffered knocks in the week, are set to be involved in the cup tie.

Celtic midfielder Kris Commons is doubtful for the Hampden tie as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury, while Victor Wanyama returns to Lennon's side following a successful appeal against his red card at St Mirren two weeks ago.

Mikael Lustig and Adam Matthews are fit, but Scott Brown and Lassad Nouioui remain sidelined, with James Forrest expected to also miss the cup semi-final.

Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong : "Making the top six was the perfect way to prepare for Celtic in a big semi-final.

"It's given us a lot of our belief back. Now we're hoping to take that into Sunday.

"There's a confidence about the boys that I have noticed since Jackie came in. Everyone has been given a fresh start.

"Was a change of leadership needed at that point? Perhaps. I've got a lot of respect for Peter Houston - he gave me my chance here, so I've only got good things to say about him.

"But maybe a fresh start was what the club needed and now everyone is firing off that."

Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley : "We just need to go out there and play like we did on Saturday - I thought we were fantastic.

"Hopefully, we can get over the run at Hampden - we haven't played too well there.

"We are frustrated and have looked at things, in the way we play and preparation.

"But preparation has been fine - we do exactly the same thing every week and we have done exactly the same thing in the Champions League.

"So it's not preparation, it's just the way we have played.

"We just need to work harder as a team and be solid.

"We have had a couple of meetings and looked at the shape and hopefully we can change it for Sunday.
