Defender Paddy McCarthy misses out against his old club with a long-term groin problem and midfielder Alex Nimely is sidelined by a hamstring injury.

Winger Jason Banton could be in the squad after he was recalled from a loan spell at Plymouth.

Leicester will have an unchanged squad for the crucial clash against fellow play-off Palace.

The Foxes reported no new problems following Tuesday night's enthralling 3-2 home win over Bolton, so manager Nigel Pearson once again has everyone fit and available.

Pearson made two changes against the Trotters, recalling wingers Anthony Knockaert and Lloyd Dyer at the expense of central midfielder Danny Drinkwater and leading scorer David Nugent.

Bringing natural width back into the team worked as the Foxes won for the first time in 10 matches and replaced their opponents in the play-off places.

Midfielders Richie Wellens and Paul Gallagher, defenders Liam Moore and Zak Whitbread and strikers Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane join Drinkwater and

Nugent in providing options for Pearson should he wish to change his starting line-up.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace, who were leading the Championship at the beginning of December, have slipped to fifth with a three-point cushion on seventh place, and a game in hand on their rivals.

The Eagles are without victory in six, bottom but one in the "form" table (two points out of 18), and without a goal in five games or 456 minutes.

Ian Holloway welcomes one of his former clubs, and will not want Leicester to join Watford and Birmingham as the only sides to leave Selhurst Park with maximum points.

After this Palace have back-to-back away games against Blackburn (27 April) and Millwall (30 April), before concluding the regular season at home to Peterborough (4 May).

Leicester City

Leicester recaptured their winning touch with a 3-2 home triumph over Bolton on Tuesday after nine matches without a maximum, and returned to the play-off spots on 64 points, one more than Bolton in seventh.

They head for the capital in search of their first back-to-back victories since January, and a first triumph in eight on the road.

Their final two fixtures are also against fellow promotion chasers - Watford at home on 26 April and Nottingham Forest away on 4 May.

Defender Lloyd Dyer could make his 250th career league start, and forward Dave Nugent his 300th.
