Cristela is an American situation comedy television series that premiered on October 10, 2014, on ABC, as part of the 2014–15 television season. The series was created by stand-up comedienne Cristela Alonzo, who also stars in and writes for the series and serves as an executive producer with co-creator Kevin Hench, Becky Clements, Marty Adelstein, and Shawn Levy for Fox Television Studios. This makes her the first Latina to create, produce, write, and star in her own primetime comedy.
