Reading will assess Danny Williams (calf) after the midfielder was taken off as a precaution during Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Charlton.Winger Royston Drenthe (foot) could make his first appearance in almost three months.Lewis Grabban (illness) may be recalled to the starting 11 as Bournemouth look to end their seven-match winless run.Shaun MacDonald, Andrew Surman and Marc Pugh will all hope to keep their places in the side after starting in midweek.Reading are monitoring Danny Williams ahead of the clash with Bournemouth the the Madejski on Saturday.Midfielder Williams was taken off as a precaution during Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Charlton to protect a calf problem.
Full-back Chris Gunter is available following a one-match ban and winger Royston Drenthe could make his first appearance in almost three months after a foot injury.
But Wayne Bridge, Sean Morrison (both knee), Mikele Leigertwood (ankle), Jason Roberts (hip) and Jem Karacan (cruciate) are still on the sidelines.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, could recall Lewis Grabban as they head to Reading looking to end their seven-match winless run.
The Cherries' top scorer returned from illness as a 61st-minute substitute and he is pushing for a start against the Royals along with fellow forward Tukelo Rantie.
Manager Eddie Howe made three changes in midweek as they went down 3-0 to QPR on Tuesday night and Shaun MacDonald, Andrew Surman and Marc Pugh will all hope they have done enough to keep their places in the side.
Ryan Allsop (glandular fever) and Mohamed Coulibaly (Achilles/calf) are close to returning to training but this match comes too soon for the pair.
