Series Genl Info: The first promo for the series was seen on Friday, June 28, 2013, after the premiere of Disney's Mickey Mouse Shorts.Liv and Maddie is about two 15-year-old polar opposite twins with different personalities. Liv is a happy, energetic show host whose show finished its final production, while Maddie is a sporty, active school basketball player who's got game. When Liv returns home from premiering the series finale of her show, Maddie gets nervous as she's always been enjoying herself when Liv was away, about going to school with Liv and getting along. Liv causes a lot of drama with Maddie, as she is always being sweet and addicted to talk about her stardom. Maddie, on the other hand, gets more nervous when Karen Rooney and Pete Rooney, their mom and dad, work at her school when they really try to let Liv and Maddie get along. Karen is a school psychologist and Pete is Maddie's basketball coach. Joey and Parker cause mischief when they try to sneak out during bed, and doing other ridiculous things their parents can't see.....Two identical twins Liv, a popular television star whose hit show has just finished its run, and Maddie, an outstanding student and school basketball phenomenon whose popularity is on the rise, that is until Liv makes a triumphant return to their Wisconsin high school and complicating their teenage life even more is that their parents both work at their school........After the Disney Channel Original Movie “Teen Beach Movie” premieres on July 19, 2013 viewers will be able to tune in for a preview of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Series “Liv And Maddie.” The preview will begin at 9:45pm ET/PT.
