Series Genl Info: Eight episodes were shown from 26 November to 17 December 2012. It is an adaptation of the 2004 film They Came Back (in French titled Les Revenants). Season 2 is to air in 2014. The series was shot in Haute-Savoie, mainly in the city of Annecy, and also in Poisy, Cran-Gevrier, Sévrier, Annecy-le-Vieux, Veyrier-du-Lac and Semnoz. The dam which plays an important part is the Barrage de Tignes. The first season of the series was filmed in April and May 2012. Season 2 of the series is to be shot in February and March 2014, for screening from November 2014.Their arrival coincides with a series of gruesome murders which bear a chilling resemblance to the work of a serial killer from the past. This is a homecoming like no other......Rebound opens in a small mountain community which is rocked to its core when several local people who are presumed dead suddenly re-appear at their homes. Despite having passed away some years earlier, these ghostly characters appear in human form, they have not aged, and they are completely unaware of their own fatality. Determined to reclaim their lives and start over, they slowly come to realize that they are not the only ones to have been brought back from the dead....The series received positive critical acclaim. Le Monde said that the series marked a resurgence in the fantasy genre with the dead appearing out of nowhere, trying to regain their life where they left off. Libération said that the series recalled the atmosphere of Twin Peaks by David Lynch. In France, viewing figures averaged 1.4 million over the eight episodes.....
