Ramona Rizzo is a good friend of cast member Karen Gravano and the granddaughter of former well known mobster Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero, and Angela "Big Ange" Raiola is the niece of Salvatore "Sally Dogs" Lombardi and a single mother of 2. Big Ange was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY with her two sisters and four brothers, and always strived to be popular with "the mob".....Mob Wives is a docu-soap that follows the lives of four struggling, "allegedly" associated women who have to pick up the pieces and carry on after their husbands or fathers do time for Mob-related activities. The women are long time friends who live in New York City's "forgotten borough", Staten Island. Along the way they battle their friends, families and each other as they try to do what's best for themselves and their children. It's not easy to maintain the lifestyle they were accustomed to when the family's primary bread winner is in lock up. From The Godfather to The Sopranos to My Cousin Vinny, these women are sick and tired of the lies and stereotypes that exist about their lives. They're determined to finally set the record straight and show the world once and for all that while their lives may seem crazy at first glance, they love, laugh and get their hearts broken just like everyone else....Mob Wives star Drita D’Avanzo is a G. Episode Summary:
After a break in at her home, Renee fears that she and her son AJ are being targeted for being associated with a rat. While Drita and Karen have finally settled their differences, Drita now finds herself in the middle of a feud between Carla and Renee that involves allegations of infidelity and drugs. As Ramona breaks some difficult news to her children, Big Ang is recovering from yet more cosmetic surgery and visited by a long-time friend, LOVE MAJEWSKI. Love, infamous for her past in the mob life, is back from Miami and ready to reconnect with the girls-- some of whom are not so happy she is back in town. Drita and Big Ang try to help settle the feud between Carla and Renee by bringing them together to talk things out over brunch but when the knives come out, things get ugly-- fast.
