"We won the cup last year and we know what it felt like and we want to get that same feeling this year, so hopefully we do well on Sunday and we can get the win."
Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels will include Kris Boyd in his squad for Sunday's William Hill Scottish Cup tie with Hibernian.Boyd returned to Kilmarnock last weekend after his spell at Portland Timbers came to an end in January.
Shiels, who has no fresh injury worries, may partner the player with Paul Heffernan for the quarter-final clash at Rugby Park.
Hibs looks set to be boosted by the return of defender Paul Hanlon as they aim to move within one game of their second successive Scottish Cup final.
Hanlon was left out of the midweek draw with Killie after taking a knock on the hip but is expected to play in the tie.
Tim Clancy (hamstring) remains on the sidelines as the visitors look to stretch their unbeaten run to four games. THESE two go head-to-head again just four days after their last encounter.
Kenny Shiels’ side bossed Wednesday’s 2-2 draw for much of the night but couldn’t kill Hibs off.
And Pat Fenlon’s men will have taken a huge lift from batting back twice late on to snatch a point.
All-time SPL record goalscorer Kris Boyd watched the game from the bench on Wednesday.
And it might well be time for Shiels to throw his new signing in as he looks to give his side an extra edge.
But with Paul Hanlon expected to be back Hibs will be at near full strength – and they’ll believe they can dump Killie out of the cup for the second year in a row.
