MILLWALL are expected to rest several key players for Wednesday's Capital One Cup clash against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Manager Steve Lomas is conscious that his side will need their full energy against Brighton in the Championship on Saturday and wants to protect the nucleus of his squad.
Nicky Bailey and Richard Chaplow are among those who could be left on the bench. QPR loanee Shaun Derry is cup-tied.
Scott Malone, Jimmy Abdou and Liam Feeney are set to start, whilst Jack Smith could come into the defence. Josh Wright, Martyn Woolford and John Marquis are also in the squad.
Strike trio Steve Morison (hernia), Jermaine Easter (hamstring) and Dany N'Guessan are all sidelined by injury, meaning Andy Keogh and Scott McDonald could be line for starts.
David Forde and Liam Trotter will both be given more time to recover from knee injuries, but James Henry is back after illness.
Forest will make changes too, with ex-Lions frontman Darius Henderson tipped to feature. Striker Simon Cox has recovered from an ankle injury and could start.
