Manager Kenny Jackett must decide whether to recall Lowry to the fold immediately or to stick with the same defensive back-line that helped the Lions to victory over Middlesbrough last weekend.
Winger Taylor is another welcome addition to the squad after a knee injury and he completed 70 minutes for the U21s against QPR last Friday to build up his fitness.
Midfielder George Saville could make his debut after sealing a loan move from Chelsea earlier this week and is expected to be named amongst the substitutes.
Midfielder Josh Wright should retain his place in the starting eleven after a composed performance at the Riverside Stadium, while Andy Keogh and Adam Smith will both be pushing for recalls.
The Lions are without striker Rob Hulse, who continues to struggle with a stomach injury, and his absence should mean that Benik Afobe and John Marquis continue their partnership up front.
Leeds look set to name an unchanged starting XI for the third consecutive game as they prepare to welcome the Lions to Yorkshire.
