"It's a very wide open League Cup this year, which I think adds a lot of spice to each of the four quarter-finals.
"It's a game that should be a cracking football match because both teams like to get the ball down and pass it and United had a very emphatic win at the weekend as well.
"We have obviously watched Dundee United since we last played them in August and they've improved, they've got better as we all thought they would. I think every team's done that.
"They certainly carry a big threat going forward and, on Saturday in particular, they could have scored more than the four goals and were dominant right from the word go."
Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara: "We have a strong squad with competition for places and whoever comes in has to stake a place.
"It doesn't mean we won't change things again for Inverness. We'll decide nearer the time."

And given their precarious position in the table, Hughton would surely put winning three points at the Etihad ahead of booking their passage into next round of the League Cup.

Leicester City will be hoping to cause an upset when an inconsistent Fulham side visit the King Power Stadium for Tuesday’s Capital One Cup clash.
The Foxes have won seven consecutive matches on home turf and are 6/5 (2.20) favourites with William Hill to come out on top against their Premier League opponents.
Martin Jol’s men followed up their eye-catching 4-1 win over Crystal Palace with a meek defeat against Southampton on Saturday and are available at 21/10 (3.10) to bounce back with a victory here.
The sides played out a 2-2 draw the last time they met on this ground in an FA Cup tie five years ago, and you can get odds of 5/2 (3.50) on them forcing extra-time with a stalemate once again this time out.

Championship leaders Burnley have won their last four League Cup home matches against Premier League opposition - beating Fulham, Arsenal and Tottenham at Turf Moor in 2008-09, and Bolton in 2010-11 - and if they continue that run, Allardyce will have more to moan about on Tuesday night.
Burnley will hope to take their sparkling Championship form into the League Cup when they host West Ham on Tuesday.
Sean Dyche's men have been the surprise package of the season's opening months in the second tier of English football, and secured their position at the top of the league with a seventh straight win over QPR on Saturday.
The run comes after losing leading striker Charlie Austin in the close-season, but Danny Ings and Sam Vokes have more than filled the void in attack with 12 and eight goals respectively in all competitions.
Midfielder Kevin Nolan was on target on both those occasions but the West Ham captain has been uncharacteristically quiet in front of goal of late, failing to find the net since rounding off a 2-0 season-opening win over Cardiff City.
The Welsh club also came off second best at Upton Park in round three of the League Cup - twice levelling in a topsy-turvy encounter, only for Ricardo Vaz Te to snatch a 3-2 triumph for Allardyce's men in the 88th minute.
Vaz Te went on to find the net in consecutive Premier League matches against Tottenham and Manchester City, where Allardyce used an unconventional formation without a recognised striker that brought mixed results, as a surprise 3-0 win was followed by a 3-1 defeat.
With England forward Andy Carroll (heel) still around a fortnight shy of a return to action, Burnley may be the latest team to tackle this unusual approach after it drew a blank in the Hammers' goalless draw at Swansea City on Sunday.

As a player, Hughes won the League Cup with three different clubs - Manchester United, Chelsea and Blackburn.
However, he has yet to reach the final as a manager, with his most successful run coming during his tenure with Blackburn, who reached the semi-finals in 2005-06.

However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho believes fans at the Emirates Stadium will be denied a true spectacle because of poor scheduling.
After learning that his side would have to play twice in three days, Mourinho originally indicated that he would field under-21 players against the Gunners.

Team News:
But the Portuguese manager, who won this competition twice in his first spell in charge, has since had a change of heart out of "respect" for Blues fans.
Instead he will use his first-team squad on Tuesday, albeit deploying those players who were not involved at the weekend.
Arsenal may have had 28 hours more rest than Chelsea but a fourth game in the space of 11 days could be similarly problematic for a Gunners squad with arguably less strength in depth than the Blues.
This is a trophy that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has never won, although in fairness the Frenchman has rarely prioritised the competition.
However, Wenger will be loath to see his side surrender winning momentum ahead of testing November fixtures against Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United.
In a competition that will undeniably be at the bottom of the list of priorities for managers of both clubs at this stage of the season, Jose Mourinho is faced with a further selection dilemma. Chelsea played an intense Premier League battle against Manchester City on Sunday, just over 48 hours before their meeting with Arsenal at the Emirates. Such squeezed scheduling has understandably been criticized by Mourinho, who initially claimed he would field an under-21 development team. That threat has been withdrawn, but he confirmed that no player who featured in the win over City will be selected.

The Blues have won their last three League Cup games against the Gunners, including victory in the 2007 final.

Arsenal
Defeat would mean Arsenal suffer back-to-back home defeats (in all competitions) for the first time since February 2013, when Blackburn and then Bayern Munich won at the Emirates.

Dancing with the Stars is a reality show airing on ABC in the United States, and CTV in Canada in 2011.. ....."Dancing with the Stars" is a series that pairs a celebrity with a professional dance partner as they train and then compete in front of a studio audience in a televised dance competition. The pairs will be judged by a panel of experts and also by viewers at home, with one couple being eliminated each week.In each round of competition, each couple will demonstrate how well their training and rehearsing has paid off, by performing a choreographed routine.
