Easter Road is the venue for Saturday’s early kick off between hosts Hibs and league leaders Celtic.
Celtic start as 2/5 favourites to win the match, Hibs can be backed at 13/2, whilst the draw is available at 7/2. All odds quoted are available with Coral.Celtic travel to Easter Road this Saturday looking to build momentum ahead of their crucial Champions League tie against Ajax on Tuesday. Pat Fenlon hopes his side will be able to replicate their victory against Celtic last december in the capital.


Paul Cairney and Danny Handling will be part of the Hibernian squad for the game against Celtic on Saturday.

The latter has not played since bruising a bone on his foot against Ross County in August, while midfielder Cairney has yet to feature this season.

Cairney has been sidelined with an ankle injury but is back in manager Pat Fenlon's thoughts after a recent outing with the U20s.

However, Alan Maybury (thigh), Tim Clancy (groin), Alex Harris (ankle), Jordon Forster (groin) and Sam Stanton (hip) are all still out.

Fenlon is hoping the crowd can galvanise his side to a repeat of their success over Celtic in December last year.

He said: "We're going to need everybody playing on their game. We need a battling performance, a hard performance, a little bit of luck along the way.

"We want to make sure it is a contest, get in their faces and start the game really well. We want the crowd up for it early and you need that against Celtic."

Celtic's Mikael Lustig is a major doubt for the trip to the Scottish capital after injuring his hip on international duty with Sweden last week.

His absence will be keenly felt as fellow right-back Adam Matthews (shoulder) will also be missing along with Derek Boerrigter (ankle) and Steve Moyoukolo (Achilles).

On a more positive note, midfielders Joe Ledley and Tom Rogic are back from their respective groin injuries while James Forrest could make his first start since August.

The Soccer Teams FC Twente and Ajax played 26 Games up to today.
After nine Eredivisie matches, last season’s 6th place FC Twente find themselves in unfamiliar territory at the top of the table on 19 points following an unbeaten run of five matches. Current champions and Saturday’s opponents Ajax have 18 points and are in 3rd place, just behind PSV who are level on points with Twente, meaning the match between Twente and Ajax will decide who goes, or indeed remains top of the Eredivisie table.

A solitary goal by Twente attacker Luc Castaignos proved the difference between themselves and 14th placed Cambuur last Friday evening. Castaignos had to wait until after half time before he got on the score sheet, beating the offside trap to slip it past Cambuur ‘keeper Leonard Nienhuis. Twente held on until the final whistle to take another three points and extend their unbeaten league run to five games.

Ajax’s 3-0 victory over FC Utrecht will no doubt give them some confidence going into Saturday’s clash. Their persistence in the first 45 minutes paid off as on the stroke of half time, Thulani Serero exploited poor defending from Utrecht’s centre backs and knocked the ball past ‘keeper Robbin Ruiter to put his side 1-0 up at half time. Ajax made it two 15 minutes after the break, with Davy Klaassen latching onto Ruiter’s parry from Serero’s long range effort. Three points were secured when in the 91st minute, superb trickery from substitute Danny Hoesen was followed by a low, powerful strike at the goalkeeper’s near post which squeezed past the legs of Ruiter, who will surely want to forget his trip to Amsterdam.

Our instinct is telling us to go with Twente. Granted, Ajax’s team looks strong, and experience counts for a hell of a lot, yet Twente’s unbeaten run looks too good to beat.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has warned his team he will accept nothing less than a win against Bastia on Saturday - despite the absence of several big names.Paris Saint-Germain welcomes Bastia to the Parc des Princes on Saturday, hoping to edge ahead of Monaco at the top of Ligue 1.

The defending champions are unbeaten in Ligue 1 so far this season and sit behind leaders Monaco on goal difference only.

However, their home form has been a source of some disappointment for Blanc with two wins and two draws so far, and their cause will not be helped this weekend by injuries and suspensions.

Yet Blanc has reminded his players that even a weakened squad should be strong enough to overcome Bastia.

"We are not the only team to have to deal with injured and suspended players, so do not look for excuses," he told a press conference.

"We have a competitive team and players at a level to replace those who are missing.

"We should get three points from every home match. We will face this Bastia team and put them in trouble by imposing our game. That will thwart their plan and force them to defend."

Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta are both suspended for the home side while Thiago Silva remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.

There are also doubts over the fitness of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Salvatore Sirigu, who are bothered by knee trouble.

Bastia will arrive at the Parc des Princes in high spirits following a 4-1 hammering of Lorient in their last match before the international break.

Real Madrid are sweating on the fitness of Gareth Bale ahead of their fixture with Malaga at the Sanitago Bernabeu on Saturday.
Real Madrid have had a great start to the season but the bar is set high in Spain as they find themselves alreadt 5 points behind runaway leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid have managed 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat but the top two have won every match so far. Real Madrid have yet to really hit top gear in the league and Carlo Ancelotti is changing tactics on a game by games basis. Long term injury loss is Xabi Alonso, who they are missing as he sets the tempo for the games. Record signing Gareth Bale sits out but he is yet to make much of an impact.

Malaga sit 10th in the league with 2 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats. Their game is based on a rock solid backline and indeed only the top two sides have conceded less than Malaga. The side have yet to win away from home though and look likely to continue this run here. Starter Bobley Anderson is missing while squad man Casado is still out.

The Welshman has made just three appearances in all competitions for the club since his world-record move from Premier League outfit Tottenham.

Bale has been struggling with a thigh problem, and reports surfaced in the Spanish media that the 24-year-old had suffered a slipped disc in his back.

But those rumours were strongly denied by the club and president Florentino Perez revealed the attacker is hoping to be fit for the showdown with former Madrid boss Bernd Schuster's side.

However, los Blancos will definitely still be without Xabi Alonso, who remains sidelined following surgery on a groin problem and a fractured metatarsal in recent months.

Carlo Ancelotti's charges head into the fixture on the back of a 3-2 victory away to Levante before the international break.

Injury-time goals from Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo were required to rescue an unlikely three points, after Nabil El Zhar had given the hosts a 2-1 lead in the 86th minute.

The result maintained Madrid's grasp on third place, with the club taking 19 points from a possible 24 so far, leaving them five points adrift of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, both of whom boast 100 per cent records.

Madrid will be keen to build momentum ahead of important fixtures with Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday and the first Clasico of the season away to Barcelona on October 26.

Malaga have had indifferent start to the campaign, winning just two of their eight matches.

The Rosaleda outfit sit in 10th position, and are looking to bounce back from their 1-0 home defeat to Osasuna and midfielder Fernando Tissone is confident of an upset against Ancelotti's men.

After suffering their first loss last time out, Borussia Dortmund look to get back on track against Hannover 96.Borussia Dortmund will look to bounce back from its first league defeat of the season when it hosts Hannover on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp's men were beaten 2-0 by Borussia Monchengladbach prior to the international break, as they dropped from first to second in the Bundesliga standings.

Hannover, which sits fifth, goes into the game with just one win in its last four league outings, having lost to the two other sides in the top three, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, in September. Hannover has a poor record against Saturday's opponent, too, having not beaten Dortmund in their last four meetings in all competitions.

If last season's Bundesliga runner-up is to return to winning ways, it will likely have to do so without a number of established first-team players. Marco Reus was ruled out of international duty with a torn ankle ligament and is a doubt, while Nuri Sahin is also set to miss out with a similar injury.

Klopp will also be without the suspended Mats Hummels as well as long-term injury worries Marcel Schmelzer (thigh), Lukasz Piszczek (hip and groin) and Ilkay Gundogan (back). None of the trio featured in Dortmund's practice match against Cologne on Tuesday, which saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Julian Schieber score in a 2-1 win.

However, Sven Bender could make a return from the groin and back injuries that forced him to miss Germany's final two World Cup qualifiers.

Hannover has injury concerns of its own, with striker Mame Biram Diouf a doubt due to a hamstring tear that kept him out out the 1-1 draw with Hertha Berlin and Senegal's 3-1 defeat to the Ivory Coast on Saturday. Striker Didier Ya Konan (ankle) and defender Felipe (hip) are also ruled out, having undergone operations on their respective injuries.

Mirko Slomka's men kept themselves sharp during the international break with a 16-1 friendly win over lower-league side TSV Barsinghausen and will need to take some of that finishing ability into Saturday's game. While Hannover has conceded just 11 goals in the league, the club has only scored 11 - the lowest of any team in the top eight.

Slomka's men will see Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowksi as a major threat, with the Poland international having scored six times in the Bundesliga this season, and seven in his last four against Hannover.

Bayern Munich will look to go about extending their lead at the top of the Bundesliga when they host out-of-form Mainz on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's men come into the clash having dropped points for only the second time this season against Bayer Leverkusen before the international break.

They remain unbeaten in the league while Saturday's opponents have seen their form nosedive since winning their first three Bundesliga games.

The international break was a mixed blessing for Bayern, with a number of players qualifying for the World Cup while also breaking personal records, although it also presented Guardiola with injury problems too.

Bastian Schweinsteiger collected his 100th international cap as Germany finished Group C unbeaten, while Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben were on target for France and the Netherlands respectively on Tuesday.
Although both teams are going in different directions, in different spots of the table, and in different statures in Europe, they share a common goal.

Both are coming off draws, and both need a win for validation.

FC Bayern München needs validation not that they are the top team in the Bundesliga, for they are at the top of the table with six wins and two draws. They need validation that they are the best team in Germany, that a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen was not a pattern.

After a hot start, 1. FSV Mainz 05 may not need just validation that they are a mid-table side, but maybe that they belong in the Bundesliga. Their three wins to start the season are the only ones they have, and their schedule does not get much easier after FC Bayern either.

With players validating their countries, FC Bayern will have the opportunity to validate with a convincing win, and a loss is not something that Mainz wants to convince itself is inevitable.

Ermin Bicakcic hopes to follow one memorable moment with another as he returns to the nitty-gritty of the Bundesliga with Eintracht Braunschweig on Saturday.

They did that two weeks ago to pick up their first win back in the top flight, a 2-0 victory at Wolfsburg, and that game has sparked a wave of euphoria in the city.
Schalke coach Jens Keller hopes to ``pull the plug'' on that and bring Braunschweig back down to earth this weekend.
``We're going there to win,'' he said. ``We know what to expect. There's always a good atmosphere in this stadium and the fans will try to push the team forwards.
``But really all that matters is the way we play. We want to take this euphoria out of Braunschweig.''
Schalke are still without the injured Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who has been ruled out until the end of the year, and Kyriakos Papadopoulos, who is at least back in training.

Ravel Morrison grabbed everyone's attention with a wonderful individual goal in West Ham's surprise 3-0 win over Spurs at White Hart Lane, and has followed it up with two eye-catching performances for Gareth Southgate's England Under-21 side. The 20-year-old made his debut in the game with San Marino, and scored twice on Tuesday against Lithuania. Despite an on-pitch altercation  with team-mate Wilfried Zaha, he does seem to have turned the corner in terms of tapping into the talent and potential we've all heard about since his time with Manchester United.  

Team News:
West Ham defender James Collins will miss out after suffering a hamstring injury playing for Wales in midweek.
Striker Carlton Cole, who rejoined on a short-term deal last week, is not yet match fit.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is still out with a thigh injury but could return next week.
This game also comes too soon for summer signing Martin Demichelis, who continues to build up his fitness after a knee injury.
I'm intrigued to see what the rest of the season brings for him after making such a strong and promising start.
This game's an interesting one, with West Ham off-colour at home recently and Manchester City less than impressive on the road up to this point.
The Hammers have lost their last two league games at the Boleyn Ground while City have taken just one point from a possible nine on their travels.
Nonetheless, the bottom line is that West Ham have struggled to score consistently, while City are the highest scorers in the Premier League going into the weekend so they'll fancy extending their unbeaten run over West Ham to seven matches.

West Ham haven't won any of their last six league meetings with Manchester City (D2, L4) and have won just one of the last 12 (W1, D3, L8).

Manchester City's away league form under Manuel Pellegrini has been poor so far, with only one point from three games, and I don't think he has quite come to terms with the demands of the Premier League.
But if there is a place you can keep things tight it is at West Ham, because the pitch at Upton Park is not the biggest.
That is one of the reasons I am leaning towards a draw here.
West Ham's win over Tottenham last time out was a superb result. But what Hammers boss Sam Allardyce tends to do after a win like that is to try to not lose for the next few games.
And it might sound daft for a team that won 3-0 at White Hart Lane, but West Ham are short of firepower.
They are so short of strikers, they have re-signed Carlton Cole after releasing him in the summer. I can only guess that Frank McAvennie and Tony Cottee were not available.
