Another event, another new market for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as this Saturday (June 15, 2013) night the Octagon touches down for the first time in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for UFC 161: "Evans vs. Henderson".

It will be the second time this year and the fourteenth time overall that the UFC travels to "The Great White North," except this time around it will be in a city the organization has yet to visit.

The main event of the evening will see two of the most accomplished fighters in mixed martial arts (MMA) history collide as former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans meets former Strikeforce and two-division PRIDE champion Dan Henderson in a three-round bout.

With the original headliner of Renan Barao vs. Eddie Wineland unfortunately falling off the card due to an injury to the interim bantamweight champion, UFC 161 marks the third of the past five fight cards in Canada to go forward without the originally announced main event.

That's just one of many facts going into this weekend's event at the MTS Centre. To find out more, simply continue reading:

The 22 fighters scheduled to compete on the card have a combined total of 441 professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights with 90 losses. Of those losses, only 17 are by submission. Fourteen fighters on the card have never lost an MMA fight by submission.
Evans fights in his 12th UFC main event and 10th pay-per-view (PPV) main event. He is 9-2 in those contests. Henderson is 2-2 in UFC main events.
Roy Nelson is on his first three-fight win-streak since Dec. 2007-May 2008, earning all those victories by (technical) knockout in a total of five minutes and 52 seconds. "Big Country" has finished his opponent inside the distance in 17 of his 19 professional victories.
James Krause will make his UFC debut against 15-fight veteran of the organization Sam Stout. The match up features the biggest disparity of UFC experience of any two opponents on the card.
Ryan Jimmo is 17-1 in his career when fighting in his home country of Canada. "Big Deal" enters the event on the heels of his first loss since Feb. 2007.
After entering the UFC with a perfect 9-0 record, Mitch Clarke is 0-2 in the organization with both losses coming to fighters who are no longer part of the UFC roster

Rugby league convert Eastmond takes his place in the starting XV at inside centre, while London Irish winger Yarde gets the nod on the left.

Yarde's inclusion means there is no place in the match-day squad for David Strettle, while Eastmond slots into the vacant centre role left by Billy Twelvetrees who was called into the British and Irish Lions squad earlier in the week.

Head coach Lancaster promotes Eastmond from the bench and insists the Bath back has the necessary credentials to terrorise the opposition defence, as England seek their first series win in Argentina since 1981.

"He has got a strong sense of self belief in his own ability which shines through on the training field and he is a dominant player on the field," Lancaster said.

Coincidentally, Northampton's Stephen Myler, who switched codes in 2006, is set to make his international bow from the bench after being named amongst Lancaster's replacements.
England made an impressive start to the two-match Test series with a record 32-3 win in Salta last weekend, the heaviest defeat the Pumas have suffered at the hands of the tourists.

Meanwhile Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has made five changes in personnel as the hosts look to launch a backlash.

Captain Felipe Contempomi has overcome illness to feature in the Pumas half-backs, where he will be joined by Nicolas Vergallo who replaces Martin Landajo at scrum-half.

Gabriel Ascarate comes into the starting line-up at inside centre as Contempomi switches to fly-half while winger Belisario Agulla is preferred on the right with Matias Orlando reduced to the bench.

Up front, Guillermo Roan will take the number one jersey while Rodrigo Baez starts at blindside flanker as Argentina look to strengthen their pack which lost nine line-outs and four scrums in the first Test.

"We must do what we've practiced this week that we didn't do in Salta, play better in the lineouts and scrums," Argentina hooker Martin Garcia Veiga added.

Argentina: 15 Martin Bustos Moyano, 14 Belisario Agulla, 13 Gonzalo Tiesi, 12 Gabriel Ascarate, 11 Manuel Montero, 10 Felipe Contepomi (capt), 9 Nicolas Vergallo, 8 Tomas Leonardi, 7 Benjamin Macome, 6 Rodrigo Baez, 5 Mariano Galarza, 4 Julio Farias Cabello, 3 Maximiliano Bustos, 2 Martin Garcia Veiga, 1 Guillermo Roan.
Replacements: 16 Mauricio Guidone, 17 Pablo Henn, 18 Francisco Gomez Kodela, 19 Esteban Lozada, 20 Tomas De La Vega, 21 Tomas Cubelli, 22 Benjamin Madero, 23 Matias Orlando.

England: 15 Mike Brown, 14 Jonny May, 13 Jonathan Joseph, 12 Kyle Eastmond, 11 Marland Yarde, 10 Freddie Burns, 9 Lee Dickson, 8 Ben Morgan, 7 Matt Kvesic, 6 Tom Wood (capt), 5 Dave Attwood, 4 Joe Launchbury, 3 David Wilson, 2 Rob Webber, 1 Joe Marler.
