Wigan are undoubtedly an enigma, but deciphering when they are most likely to look ordinary doesn't require the finest analytical minds that Bletchley Park had to offer. A meagre two wins, against West Ham and Reading, and 10 points from 14 games at the DW Stadium represents the worst home record in England's top five divisions. In fact, the Latics have won fewer than a quarter of their home matches over the last three seasons. The reasons can be debated (although, for starters, the ever-present swathe of empty seats is hardly conducive to raucous vocal support), but the facts are stark. So Wigan will host Newcastle on Sunday in the bottom three, having dropped back into the relegation places last weekend just hours after reaching their first FA Cup semi-final with an eye-catching 3-0 win at Everton. Incidentally, every one of their six victories in cup competitions this season has come away. Newcastle ought to be confident then. Well, maybe not. One away win all season is evidence that Alan Pardew's side do not travel well, though the same cannot be said of the vast French contingent now playing in black and white stripes. There were eight of them on the pitch at one time or another during last weekend's home win over Stoke, and newcomers such as Moussa Sissoko have added some va va voom (there, I said it) to steer them away from the relegation zone. With a nine-point cushion, Pardew is surely right to feel his side are safe now.
No such luck for Wigan, but they have survived far more hopeless-looking situations. And if they go on to win the FA Cup, they're entitled to feel bullet proof - remember, no team has ever lifted the big-eared trophy and suffered relegation in the same season.

Team News:
Wigan forward Callum McManaman is a major doubt to face Newcastle due to the ankle injury he suffered in the FA Cup win at Everton.
Ryo Miyaichi damaged ankle ligaments in that tie and requires surgery.
Newcastle midfielder Yohan Cabaye could miss out with the groin problem that forced his substitution during Thursday's European win over Anzhi.
Shola Ameobi is fit, but Hatem Ben Arfa faces hamstring surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

Head-to-head
Wigan have won five of their six home meetings with Newcastle in the Premier League. Their only defeat came in January 2011 when Shola Ameobi scored the only goal.
Newcastle are vying to beat Wigan home and away in the same season for the first time. They won the reverse fixture 3-0, with Demba Ba scoring twice after Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa was sent off in the 12th minute.

Wigan
The FA Cup semi-finalists have only managed one win in their last eight league games (W1, D3, L4).
Wigan have the worst home record in the division, with two wins and 10 points from 14 games. They have failed to keep a clean sheet and conceded a league-high 31 goals at home this season.
They are winless in their last seven league games at the DW Stadium since a 3-2 victory over Reading in November.
Paul Scharner is poised to make his 150th league appearance for Wigan.

Newcastle
Newcastle have triumphed in four of their last six league matches, coming from behind to win their last three home games.
Their away record - one win and eight points from 14 matches - is the second worst in the division.
The Magpies have kept only one clean sheet in their last 11 Premier League games.
The last 16 league goals scored by Newcastle have come from overseas players - France (9), Senegal (6) and Argentina (1). James Perch was their last English scorer, against Manchester United on Boxing Day.
Half of Yohan Cabaye's six Premier League goals this season have been scored from outside the penalty area.

Chelsea v West Ham Live Stream Barclays Premier League Preview 17 March 2013

Match Preview: Sunday,17 March 2013, One of the important match Chelsea v West Ham of Barclays Premier League HD Quality Live Chelsea v West Ham streaming is available here.Chelsea v West Ham Live Stream online Barclays Premier League Video Free The match will take plcae at  Stamford Bridge on 3/17/13 Preview Pictures and Wallpapers its mean all things are available in my blog please see and check here for latest things. As Chelsea turned around their Europa League tie with Steaua Bucharest on Thursday, I wonder how many fans remembered the significance of 14 March just 12 months beforehand. It was on the same date a year ago that Chelsea rescued their Champions League tie with Napoli and effectively re-energised their season; 3-1 down from the first leg, they won the return at Stamford Bridge 4-1 and ultimately went on to enjoy the greatest night in the club's history by lifting the trophy.Their first game after the victory over Napoli was in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, and last May the oldest trophy of them all was the other part of a seemingly unlikely cup double under Roberto Di Matteo. Thursday's win over Steaua Bucharest means Chelsea are in the last eight in both the Europa League and FA Cup, and a chaotic season could still possibly have a silver lining.
Manager Rafa Benitez won't have enjoyed the reverse fixture with West Ham back in December, which came early in his reign and left him winless after three matches in charge. Sam Allardyce's team came from behind to triumph 3-1 that day, but they haven't won at Stamford Bridge for just over a decade.
The Hammers have found it tough on the road in general this season as well, losing nine times. In the Premier League, only Reading can top that with 11 away defeats.
West Ham have won two of their last four games though and collected a third away win of the season at Stoke on their last away day, bringing to an end a run that had seen them collect just one point from the last 24 available on the road.

Team News:
Chelsea forward Demba Ba could return in place of Fernando Torres for Sunday's clash with West Ham.
Ba was ineligible for the Europa League victory against Steaua Bucharest, when Torres scored the decisive goal, missed a penalty and suffered a bloody nose.
West Ham pair Mark Noble and James Tomkins should be available after respective injury and illness.
Kevin Nolan is a doubt with the foot problem he suffered last month, while Joe Cole (hamstring) misses out.
Left-back George McCartney is close to a return after three months out with a knee injury suffered in training in mid-December.

Head-to-head
West Ham ended a 12-match winless streak against Chelsea by winning the reverse fixture 3-1 in December. The hosts came from behind to triumph thanks to goals from Carlton Cole, Mohamed Diame and Modibo Maiga.
The Hammers have only taken one point from their last six visits to Stamford Bridge since a 3-2 victory in September 2002. Paolo Di Canio scored twice for the visitors, while Frank Lampard played for Chelsea and John Terry was an unused substitute.
This is the 99th meeting of the clubs in all competitions. They are level on 35 league wins apiece.

Chelsea
Chelsea have taken 28 points from a possible 48 in the league under Rafa Benitez (W8, D4, L4). It's the fourth-best record over this period, behind Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City.
It's 12 years since the Blues last lost a Premier League home game in the month of March, a 4-2 defeat against Sunderland in 2001.
They have the second best goalscoring and defensive records in the division prior to this weekend's fixtures.
Chelsea have been awarded a league-high nine penalties this season and have scored seven of them.
Frank Lampard has scored 199 goals for Chelsea, three behind Bobby Tambling's club record tally. He made his top-flight debut for West Ham in January 1996 and scored 24 goals in 148 league matches for The Hammers before joining Chelsea for £11m in 2001.
Fernando Torres has gone 11 hours and 22 minutes since last scoring a Premier League goal.
Demba Ba scored seven goals in 12 league appearances for West Ham in 2010-11.

West Ham
West Ham have won two of their last four games but taken only 14 points from their last 16 matches.
They earned their first Premier League away win since November in their most recent game, at Stoke a fortnight ago. It ended a dismal run of one point from eight away games.
The Hammers have not managed successive Premier League victories since February-March 2011.
Sam Allardyce's side have conceded a league-high 11 goals in the opening 15 minutes of matches this season.

Tottenham vs Fulham Premier League live stream Preview 17 March 2013

Match Preview: Sunday,17 March 2013, One of the important match Tottenham vs Fulham of Premier LeagueHD Quality Live Tottenham vs Fulham streaming is available here.Tottenham vs Fulham Live Stream online Premier LeagueVideo Free The match will take plcae at White Hart Lane on 3/17/13 Preview Pictures and Wallpapers its mean all things are available in my blog please see and check here
So Tottenham Hotspur's bid for European silverware remains intact - but at what cost?
Battered and bruised physically and mentally by Thursday night's San Siro experience, will there be any lingering hangover as they return their attentions to the main focus: a top-four finish in the Premier League?
Gareth Bale was suspended for the trip to Italy, while skipper Michael Dawson and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris were rested. Their fresh legs and minds could be hugely significant.
Bale's importance is staggeringly obvious and has been well documented but it's worth throwing the spotlight on the other two.
Lloris had to wait for his chance despite costing £12m, but the French number one has really proved his worth, particularly at White Hart Lane where he's only conceded seven goals in his last nine games.
How Andre Villas-Boas must shudder every time he recalls trying to sell Dawson in August. Overlooked until November, Spurs have only lost one league game with him in the starting line-up, and his recent terrific form has been rewarded with a recall to the England squad.
Defeat at Liverpool last Sunday brought an end to Tottenham's impressive 12-game unbeaten run, and two former favourites will be at the heart of Fulham's efforts to put another spanner in the works.
If manager Martin Jol can always be guaranteed a warm welcome on his return to the Lane, I'm not sure the same can be said of Dimitar Berbatov.
The Bulgarian failed to find the net on his three visits with Manchester United, but has scored in three of his last four games for Fulham and is clearly the main threat.
It's 10 years since Fulham last enjoyed victory at White Hart Lane, and they've only won twice on their travels this season so it's difficult to see them winning this one. However if Spurs are a bit leggy they could steal a point, leaving Chelsea and Arsenal as the real winners of this London derby.

Sunderland vs Norwich Premier League live stream Preview 17 March 2013

Match Preview: Sunday,17 March 2013, One of the important match Sunderland vs Norwich of Premier LeagueHD Quality Live Sunderland vs Norwich streaming is available here.Sunderland vs Norwich Live Stream online Premier LeagueVideo Free The match will take plcae at Stadium of Light on 3/17/13 Preview Pictures and Wallpapers its mean all things are available in my blog please see and check here for latest things.Premier League history will tell you that in many of the seasons of its existence there's been a team which has slid inexorably from a position of relative comfort to relegation to the Championship.
Two seasons ago, for example, Blackpool were in the top 10 after 21 games before a terrible run of results saw them gather just 11 more points to finish 19th. They had been as high as eighth at the turn of the year.
Such examples are prevalent in the world's most ruthless division and serve as a regular warning to those who reside in so-called mid-table obscurity that cantering to the end of a season can be a hazardous pursuit.
These tales will surely have been recounted on Wearside lately as Sunderland's stuttering form has started to cast them in the role of this year's potential Blackpool.
As the number of fixtures remaining reaches single digits, supporters study with increasing anxiety the challenges that lie ahead - and for the Black Cats the sight of Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton in the next five weeks seems ominous.
Before that sinister quartet is the visit of Norwich, whose own recent failings have left them slamming on the brakes to halt their own freefall. On 15 December the Canaries were seventh; they've since gathered only eight points in 12 games and sit just above their weekend hosts.
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill, rather than opt to play down the significance of this fixture, has described it as "a big, big game". The outcome may prove pivotal for both clubs.
Sunderland
  • Sunderland have only taken two points from the last 18 available.
  • They were winless in their last eight league matches last season, falling from eighth to 13th position.
  • Martin O'Neill's side have gained just five points from losing positions - only Fulham (four points) have fared worse.
  • Their next four fixtures after playing Norwich are at home to Manchester United, back-to-back away games against Chelsea and Newcastle, and a home fixture with Everton.
  • Steven Fletcher has scored seven opening goals in the Premier League this season, more than any other player.
Norwich
  • It's just one win in 12 league games for Norwich, although they have only been beaten once in their last six matches (W1, D4, L1).
  • The Canaries have failed to score in six of their last eight league games. They have a league-high six goalless draws this season.
  • QPR were the only side prior to the weekend to have scored fewer Premier League goals than Norwich, who have managed 27.
  • Chris Hughton's side have only earned one point from their last five away matches, and won just one of their last 16 league matches on the road since April (W1, D7, L8).
  • Norwich were awarded their first penalty of the season last weekend against Southampton but Grant Holt's spot-kick was saved.
  • Russell Martin is expected to make his 300th career league appearance.

• Knocked out of the FA Cup by Millwall in midweek, Blackburn will now set about the job of avoiding a fourth successive league defeat.
• Michael Appleton has not seen his third club of the season conjure a win since knocking Arsenal out of the FA Cup on 15 February, and two points out of 18 sees them at the foot of the division's form table.
• Supporters at Ewood Park have witnessed fewer Championship goals than paying customers at any of the other 23 grounds - 41 (21 for, 20 against).
Burnley
• Burnley have failed to win eight of their last nine Championship games, and have slipped down the table from seventh as a result.

Dundee Utd vs Dundee Scottish Premier Leaguelive stream Preview 17 March 2013

Match Preview: Sunday,17 March 2013, One of the important match Dundee Utd vs Dundee of Scottish Premier LeagueHD Quality Live Dundee Utd vs Dundee streaming is available here.Dundee Utd vs Dundee Live Stream online Scottish Premier LeagueVideo Free The match will take plcae at Tannadice. on 3/17/13 Preview Pictures and Wallpapers its mean all things are available in my blog please see and check here for latest things. It is a thought which points gingerly to an image of the Dundee interim manager lacing up his boots and taking a run up so as to ensure maximum impact, with players not so much informed of his plans as having them imprinted on the inside of their thighs.

It was perhaps unexpected, then, to peer between the fingers this week only to see Brown ushering Rab Douglas out of his team for the city derby with United with all the care of a nurse wearing protective gloves. The experienced goalkeeper will be able to leave his at home tomorrow, a thigh injury causing him to be replaced by Steve Simonsen, the former England under-21 player, who agreed a short-term contract on Thursday.

It was a decision which had to be made since Douglas was unable to take goal kicks during last week's draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle, although there had also been a suggestion that the veteran goalkeeper had fallen out with his manager after a drop in form. Brown's reputation meant that assertion was readily accepted but he felt inclined to respond gruffly; the coach referring to Douglas as a "Dundee legend" and insisting that "I don't want anyone tainting that". Heavens no.

What is not up for dispute is that Dundee's delicate hopes of avoiding relegation are now in the hands of Simonsen. The former Preston North End goalkeeper has arrived at Dens Park with the club 14 points adrift at the foot of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League and he has been allowed little opportunity to ease into such troubled waters, with his debut to be made against United tomorrow afternoon.

"Rab has been restricted by not being able to take back-passes and couldn't take goal-kicks, so could only throw the ball. I had to address that and bring in a goalkeeper for the sake of Dundee by going into this weekend's game," said Brown, whose side have lost all three competitive derbies this season. "So I've done that. Rab Douglas has been outstanding and we've picked up four points in the last two games since he's been injured. He's a big part of this football club. For everything that's been said out there, Rab is a big part of this club from now and into the future.

"I've brought in another keeper because of the injury situation. I've got to take a team to Tannadice and try to win a game which Dundee haven't won in a number of years to get three points to help us survive in this division."

UFC 158 Fight Match 16 -March 2013

UFC 158 Fight Match 16 -March 2013.Let's talk about what he's going to do when he gets there, and why that makes St-Pierre's eighth straight title defense a safe bet. No matter how angry he is at how he's been treated by the welterweight title challenger in the buildup to the fight, champ St-Pierre is not going to deviate from the smartest path to victory, and in the case of Diaz, all the insults and insinuations don't change the fact that he's never fared well against strong wrestlers. Watch UFC 158 Live, Watch UFC 158 Live Stream, Watch UFC 158 Free Live Stream, Watch UFC 158 Online, Watch UFC 158 Online Free, UFC 158 Live, UFC 158 live stream Online. So St-Pierre is going to take down Diaz repeatedly, and he's going to do it after establishing a jab and throwing a few dozen leg kicks, which are unlikely to be blocked by the durable-to-his-own-detriment challenger from Stockton, Calif. Diaz, who returns from a 13-month layoff courtesy of a second marijuana suspension, is a jiu-jitsu black belt and could probably tap St-Pierre, who this past November returned from a year-plus injury layoff with a dominant decision victory over Carlos Condit. But that's if Diaz didn't have to worry about elbows smashing down on him. But he will, and the longer he stays on his back, the more damage he will take. To be sure, Diaz can take a lot of that. A phenomenal amount, in fact, considering he's been fighting professionally for all his life. That kind of toughness could perhaps give him more time to draw St-Pierre into the firefight he asks of all of his opponents. It could give him more time on his feet, that is. But he probably won't get enough time to do the kind of damage that gives him a chance to stop St-Pierre before he gets deposited on the mat. A little bit (actually a lot) of wrestling might help Diaz when he gets there. If his grappling were used more to create scrambles and reverse position, it might serve to give him more opportunities to do damage with his punches. But more often that not, Diaz is comfortable on his back, where he can wait for a submission opportunity. His heroes are Rickson and Royce Gracie, after all, who made careers of turning the tables from disadvantageous positions. St-Pierre won't give him one chance to set up an armbar or triangle choke, just as he didn't against B.J. Penn, Jake Shields or Condit, all of whom were grapplers with a jiu-jitsu base. Maybe Diaz catches the champ on his feet in response to a lunging jab or superman punch. Maybe he begins to put together the type of combinations that have worn down opponents rather than concussed them with one shot. But it's highly unlikely. Diaz is very predictable in the way he fights. It's compelling that he continues to stalk opponents and goad them into a brawl. It's even more so that he hasn't changed his style when it so obviously would benefit him. But in the end, it's an approach that just won't work with someone who refuses to play his game, and St-Pierre is just that type of fighter. And he also happens to be the most explosive and athletic one Diaz has ever faced.

St Mirren V Hearts live Scottish Communities League Cup - Final Preview 17 March 2013

"Gary clearly has the same desire as a coach that he showed as a player for the club and with the support of Edgaras, Darren and the players he has an opportunity to deliver success to the club.

Team News:
"Our decision provides certainty to everyone through to the end of next season and reinforces the focus we all have in trying to achieve a special chapter in the history of this club on Sunday."
Locke made 189 appearances for Hearts as a player and helped lift the Scottish Cup in 1998 as club captain, despite missing the final win over Rangers through injury.
Meanwhile, Danny Lennon revealed pride in leading St Mirren out at a cup final would outweigh any personal excitement over his Hampden appearance.
The St Mirren manager missed out on Raith Rovers' shock League Cup final win over Celtic at Ibrox in 1994 after suffering an injury in training days earlier.
On Sunday he will get the chance to be involved when Saints face Hearts in the Scottish Communities League Cup final.
But he insists he will be thinking more about the club than himself when he walks out to 50,000 supporters.
The 43-year-old: "I'm not really excited about it, I will be immensely proud on the day.
"It's an absolute honour and privilege to serve this wonderful football club and I'll certainly be enjoying that.

"I'm delighted at this stage of my young managerial career that I have managed to get to a national cup final and we want to go and win it.
"Once you get there it's a great feeling but it quickly sinks away and you realise you have got to go and win it now."
Saints have sold about 15,000 tickets and Lennon was keen to stress that the final is for the fans.
"That's what it's all about," he said. "They are the most important people at any football club.
"It would mean the world to myself, to my staff, to my directors and to my players if we could bring a national cup back home to the wonderful fans of Paisley and be another piece of this club's wonderful 135-year history.
"This club was one of the original members of the Scottish Football League.
"We have won the Scottish Cup three times and we have never won the League Cup in this club's history. This is an opportunity to win it.
"We have managed to get a second League Cup final in three years, which is great, and we want to do nothing more than bring it back to the most important people at this football club, and that's our fans."
