After dropping points against Heerenveen in their last league fixture, Frank de Boer’s side would be gunning to bag all three points in the upcoming game against Erwin Koeman’s men.

On Eredivisie match-day five, Ajax Amsterdam will lock horns against RKC Waalwijk at Amsterdam Arena on Saturday, September 15. Both sides would be keen to resume league action brightly after the international break.

Ajax Amsterdam

The defending Dutch champions would be gunning to secure maximum points in the upcoming league encounter after dropping points in their last fixture against Heerenveen before the international break.

De Joden recorded a 2-2 stalemate against the Friesland outfit at Abe Lenstra Stadion on September 2. Thulani Serero gave the Amsterdammers an early lead, but Alfredh Finnbogasson’s double strike gave the home side advantage before the half-time break. However, Serero managed to score the equaliser within two minutes of the second-half to seal the game 2-2.

Frank de Boer, the Ajax boss, would be keen to see his side claim all three points in the upcoming encounter at home.

RKC Waalwijk

The Waalwijk outfit and Heracles Almelo played a 1-1 draw at Mandemakers Stadion on September 1 before the international break.

Willy Overtoom’s strike in the opening minute of the match gave the visitors’ hope of claiming a good result, but Florian Jozefzoon’s strike six minutes before the half-time break levelled the score-line. Both sides staged a disappointing show in the second-half, and the match ended in a 1-1 stalemate, with both sides sharing the spoils.

Erwin Koeman, the RKC head coach, has expressed optimism ahead of his side’s clash against the Amsterdam giants, and has revealed that his side will put in their 100 percent to bag a point or more this Saturday.

“We are only looking to win in Amsterdam. I have secured many points at Arena during my playing and managerial career, and I am not going to exclude this Saturday from it”, Koeman was quoted as saying to the media

Head-to-Head statistics

The Amsterdam giants have remained the dominant force against the Waalwijk outfit in the recent years. De Joden managed to emerge victorious in all of their last five encounters against RKC.

Players to watch

Christian Eriksen – Ajax Amsterdam

The Danish wonder-kid has been mesmerising the Amsterdammers’ fans with his impressive displays for the last couple of seasons. The 20-year-old netted seven goals while amassing an impressive 19 assists in 33 league appearances last term, and has kicked-off the 2012/13 campaign in the same manner, grabbing a goal while setting up two more in three matches. He will be the man to watch in the upcoming encounter.

Rodney Sneijder – RKC Waalwijk

The 21-year-old midfielder played a key role in his side’s 3-2 win over PSV Eindhoven by netting two vital goals, and he would be keen to impress RKC fans once again. Should the Dutchman perform at his best, RKC then have a very good chance of achieving a good result.

Prediction

Both sides have commenced the new season in the same manner, but Ajax’s recent performances coupled with home advantage puts them as the clear favourites to emerge victorious.

Series Genl Info: The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture. The family was conceived by MacFarlane after developing two animated films, The Life of Larry and Larry & Steve. MacFarlane redesigned the films’ protagonist, Larry, and his dog, Steve, and renamed them Peter and Brian, respectively. MacFarlane pitched a seven-minute pilot to Fox on May 15, 1998. The show was given the green light and started production. Shortly after the third season of Family Guy aired in 2001, Fox canceled the series. However, favorable DVD sales and high ratings for syndicated reruns on Adult Swim convinced the network to renew the show in 2004……The Griffin household includes two teenagers, a cynical dog who is smarter than everyone else, and an evil baby who makes numerous attempts to eradicate his mother. Heading up this eclectic household is Peter Griffin. Peter does his best to do what’s right for the family, but along the way, he makes mistakes that are the stuff of legends....Sick, twisted, politically incorrect and freakin’ sweet. The animated series features the adventures of the Griffin family. Peter and Lois have three kids – the youngest is a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on killing his mother and world domination. Chris, like his father, is obese, has a low IQ and no common sense. Meg desperately tries to be part of the popular crowd, and is coldly rebuffed. Their talking dog Brian keeps baby Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting out his own life issues. After being canceled in 2002, having an outstanding performance in DVD sales and syndication ratings that beat late-night talk shows, its cult status reached great heights. As a result, the series was added back to the FOX Summer 2005 line-up. Family Guy returned to the small screen with new episodes on Sunday, May 15th, 2005. A DVD Movie was released in September of 2005. Family Guy has won 3 Emmy awards and 3 Annie awards....Watch New Episode 13 Of The Season 11 and Enjoy.
